Happy Fox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25576133? The west London side's promotion push has been based on their mean defence, which has only been breached 14 times, and Redknapp is adamant they will bring in another striker. "I'm looking for a proven goalscorer and someone who can come in and do the job," he said. "You need three or four strikers. That is the key. Leicester have got four strikers and someone told me they might be taking [Crystal Palace forward] Kevin Phillips. That would give them five. "You need strikers. You can take two off and bring two on and you have got options. When you're struggling with one it's difficult. "Tony [Fernandes, QPR chairman] will get on the phone with Philip [beard, QPR chief executive] and they will do the deals if there are any to be done. I'll leave it to them really."
Foxymcoxy Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 I'm not sure about that....still if it happens I will trust NP to make it work.
ealingfox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Bloody hell, get the violin out. All our strikers combined cost less than Charlie Austin.
Stevosevic Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Harry stirring...? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25576133 "You need three or four strikers. That is the key. Captain... Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 4? Nugent, Vardy, GTF, Waghorn, Wood, Schlupp Turns out as well as being illiterate he can't count either...
MPH Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 4? Nugent, Vardy, GTF, Waghorn, Wood, Schlupp Turns out as well as being illiterate he can't count either... 7 is a lucky number so let's get Phillips in!!!!!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 He's got no place to come out and say something like this. He should keep this sort of thing to himself IMO.
foxfanazer Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 How close to his chest Nigel keeps his transfer dealings but we're are supposed to believe that droopy faced tw@t knows we r in for KP
jammie82uk Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 How close to his chest Nigel keeps his transfer dealings but we're are supposed to believe that droopy faced tw@t knows we r in for KP Is it because he has the arse about it? did he want him only to be told he's coming here instead
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Shows how unclassy that crooked bastard is in his dealings. Nigel rarely speaks in public about players down to respect for the player and club. Where as 'Arrry is happy to tell anyone out the window of his range rover. Beyond delighted he never came here and didn't get the England job.
foxfanazer Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Well if he has it just proves how classless he really is
Simonb Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 would be a good impact signing as he scores important goals, but i reckon its stirring from Arry
Nick Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 I'd take KP in this League till the end of the season.
qwerty123 Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Kevin Phillips that is at the KP as we speak - Deal until the end of the season. Potential coaching role as well Very clever deal if you ask me - proven goalscorer with massive promotion experience
lgfualol Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Would be a decent signing. But I'd imagine Waghorn or another striker will probably go.
Corky Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 "Tony [Fernandes, QPR chairman] will get on the phone with Philip [beard, QPR chief executive] and they will do the deals if there are any to be done. I'll leave it to them really." The bloke's a parody of himself.
Kitchandro Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 My first thought when I saw the thread title was they were going to start selling KP nuts at the stadium.
Guest shearfox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Again adding experience, good goalscorer certainly at this level.
Jace Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Laughed at Palace signing him last season and in the end he was the difference in achieveing promotion, would be much further down the pecking order with us too I would imagine. If we got money to spend though would prefer someone younger
Jace Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Spotted at Morrisons earlier too also checked into the Marriott last night welcome to Leicester KP

If we got money to spend though would prefer someone younger That can wait till the prem. Phillips has experience in abundance and will score goals, when coming off the bench, if we signed him this would signal the end of Waghorn's stay at the club.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Oh please be true... love this bloke and is a model professional and will only add positives to the cause
Jace Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 True Happy Fox, to be fair to him he is exactly what we need we need at the moment now I've had a moment to think about it. We have plenty of pace and energy going forward someone with experience and a clinical finisher could be an excellent combination
Babylon Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 The bloke has always been an utter pain in the arse for us, I mean KP not ol' twitchy. Hated it when teams brought him on even at his age. He just has that habit of getting in the end of things.
