I'm just waiting for someone to cock up the joke so we can have several pages of ripping the shit out of him/her.

Saw this sign outside Top's office at the KP yesterday:

WHY THE FVCK IS IT RED

I Fear our owners may want us to play in red nxt year.

Or are we going to have several away kits

well having spent several minutes reading several pages ive come to the conclusion that several of you's have too much time on your hands but in all honesty I can see us winning this league this with several games to spare

Come on guys lets leave it now. I think ithuriel has suffered for long enough, although it has been amusing. This has been going on for several days now so lets give him a break... Ah shit I did it again.

Talks with Lloyd have stalled, he wants two years but the club are only offering one.

Konch in advances stages.

This is from the Merc.

personally I'd give Lloyd a 2 yr deal...Im surprised Knock is in talks about a new deal...would have thought we'd be looking at a new LB...maybe McGivern  :ph34r:lol

If we are in this league Konchesky is good enough to have us top, so another year at this level he'd be ok, and in the prem he'd be ok as backup.

Totally agree Mike and pretty much what I've said in previous threads. I am actually finding it very refreshing how FFP has totally tipped the balance of power away from Players and Agents. I say stop fookin moaning roll yor sleeves up and and earn a contract here or elsewhere.

This... completely agree..

I'm quite surprised mate. You've made some decent posts recently?

Tricky one with Lloyd as once his pace has gone his game will be worsened considerably. I assumed we would offer him one year and I thought that he would accept. I'm also kind of surprised that we are even offering Paul a new deal, as if we get promoted it would be best to assess our options at lb imo.

konch has premier league experience, and will be expected to step up his game in the top flight, as many players do. the championship is a scrappy league, i think a few of our players will improve in a better league

I imagine Konch is a good person to have around the club and i would fully expect him to be back up, adds a lot of experience and has played in the prem before. 1 Year deal is a good option as long as he takes a pay cut.

I expect Lloyd will get a two year deal in the end. They're probably debating the size and scale of year two. It's only prudent that we budget for multiple scenarios, ie two more years in the Champ, or two in the Prem, or one in the Prem then back down to the Champ. It's tricky stuff, and I'm all for the Club taking its time and not being held to ransom by any player, not that I suspect Lloyd would do that

I love Lloyd but he isn't worth a two year deal if we are going to the top flight.

We can't be sentimental with these contracts no matter how much we want to be.

I thought the club had handled this well, the option on wes, so we now have the summer to sort a longer deal if we wish, we all know Kasper will only sign if we go up.

Konch on a 1 year deal. works well either way, good enough at this level, back up if we go up, presume his wages won't change to much.

However 1 year for dyer, this I find odd, he's found the form of his life, surely 2 years minimum, if we go up his pace can still be and asset even if not a 1st choice, if we came straight back down, we have him to tear up the championship again.
