cambridgefox Posted 21 May 2014 Posted 21 May 2014 i never got to the beach in the daytime, we stayed about 10 minutes from the strip and spent most of the day either a kip or dying by the hotel pool/bar. i heard it was shit though and that was enough to convince us lot that bed was a better option i'd love to go back but think it wouldn't be the same as the first time. going to miss a proper "lads" holiday this year mind, treking europe instead which will be just as fun but not the same. n my first lads holiday was San Antonio Ibiza .it was mad spent an absolute fortune ,I am talking over 20 years ago and spent about 800 quid which was a lot in those days but worth it.Think the place is still buzzing these days( nothing to do with my visit)

lgfualol Posted 21 May 2014 Posted 21 May 2014 Going to South Tyrol, Italy for a week. Only cost €500 for a top room with its own balcony over looking the lakes n mountains, free breakfast and use of pools, saunas and bikes. Then a week in Germany. My work arent pleased but yay
Grandad. Posted 21 May 2014 Posted 21 May 2014 All of this is spot on. I never saw the beach during the day, the pool and it's bar were much better. Did go in the sea at around 5am - walked back to the hotel in nothing but my boxers carrying my clothes - I must have been wrecked as I'd never normal do something like that. We went beach the first day because of our stupid flight time, hired our own speedboat for 80 euros for three hours, seriously one of the best things I have ever done, I-pod and speakers, loads of beer, pulling up to the mini islands, into caves and generally just pissing around with 7 of my best friends in the sun! Absolutely amazing memories. I reckon I have got one last big lads holiday in me next summer then I may have to retire and just become a stag do man. Ibiza it will be.
Soar Fox Posted 21 May 2014 Posted 21 May 2014 G-Spot, Cherry Bay, Cocktails and Dreams, Rescue and Zeros are the only things you want to be doing in Laganas! Avoid Wyakiki.. Out here with this Missus so won't be going to any of them places unfortunately 1st time in 6 years I won't be having a lads holiday this year. We're making up for it next year though going Ibiza in June and Vegas again at the end of August.

Samilktray Posted 21 May 2014 Posted 21 May 2014 Zante was probably the best lads holiday I went on too, and I loved Waikiki (although this was 3 years ago, perhaps its changed). Croatia for Outlook Festival was on par but wasnt a stereotypical lads holiday as such.

Wet republic pool party at the MGM, helicopter ride over Grand Canyon, gun range, hiring a mustang for the day and driving to hoover-dam, Ghost bar nightclub, all you can drink for $30 at Coyote Ugly in New York New York, Avicii at XS nightclub. Yeah it was really boring for the time we were there.

After you've done the main sights like the canyon and hoover, gambled a bit and seen some shows a week there seems far too long, going with the wife so not being up for drinking loads may not have helped.
ousefox Posted 21 May 2014 Posted 21 May 2014 Malaga/Seville on a football tour end of June/start of July... couldn't handle the heat in England this week, going to die when it his high 30's in Malaga It was 35 when I went to Seville in Easter and hit 46 when I was there early early August a couple of years ago. Going again early September after travelling from the North - starting in San Sebastian and going to a few places including Madrid for the first time.Just found out I need to get an Aids test before I go to Russia.
