GingerrrFox Posted 18 January 2014 Share Posted 18 January 2014 He was out of the squad and wasn't in Leeds today due to the birth of his son. I imagine this will be given short shrift like Fulham's enquiry for Moore.
Unabomber Posted 18 January 2014 Share Posted 18 January 2014 He wants out I reckon and will go out on loan at a minimum..

Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 18 January 2014 Share Posted 18 January 2014 He has versatility and is a useful bench player for us across a variety of positions. He has pace which is always threatening to teams and is even more useful in the last period of the game. I'd like him to stay if he's happy with his lot. Bausor Posted 18 January 2014 Share Posted 18 January 2014 can play striker, left back or left wing keeeeeep him also pace is very useful these days. Loan him out to wolves yes but with a recall option. sell no!
Buzzell Posted 18 January 2014 Share Posted 18 January 2014 Get him out on loan, gives him much needed game time rather than getting 10 minute cameos at best here.
Deucalion Posted 18 January 2014 Share Posted 18 January 2014 I don't think Schlupp is going to develop any further here on scraps from the bench in a variety of positions. He needs to move on for the sake of his career and his new family. He seems to have been a young player with great potential for ever...he more than anyone must want to realise that potential. sdb Posted 18 January 2014 Share Posted 18 January 2014 Need him here. Would be a stupid risk to let him go.

I agree with this...especially him moving for the sake of his career. I looked at the bench today and can't see him getting a spot unfortunately. Mind you, if Konchesky plays like that again.... lgfualol Posted 18 January 2014 Share Posted 18 January 2014 Wolves would be a good move for him. I say let him.
Richard Posted 19 January 2014 Share Posted 19 January 2014 If we get a decent fee let him go and replace with a proper left back. We don't need him up top with Phillips now in the frame and he's not looking like getting a look in the future, whether we're in the prem or another season chasing promotion
Fox42 Posted 19 January 2014 Share Posted 19 January 2014 Keep him. Will be another Gradel if we let him loose.
Master Fox Posted 19 January 2014 Share Posted 19 January 2014 Definitely keep. Would have preferred him to Konchesky yesterday. I consider Schlupp a key member of the squad. Should always at least be on the bench.

Monsell1976 Posted 19 January 2014 Share Posted 19 January 2014 The kid is desperately in need of confidence and games, he isn't going to be given time to improve whilst we are chasing the title/ promotion. I think the rest of the season dropping down a division would help his career no end.
Bert Posted 19 January 2014 Share Posted 19 January 2014 I'd keep him here. Versatile and is a threat whether people think so or not. Still think left wing would be his best position in the long run. But could it benefit him having a longer run of games elsewhere until the end of the season?

Still think left wing would be his best position in the long run. But could it benefit him having a longer run of games elsewhere until the end of the season? Agree think he's more dangerous as a winger, a striker with pace needs to be able to finish, he's not that sort of player IMO, he runs at players so give him a stint running down the wing, problem is who do you drop for him? Dyer won't get dropped for him, and schlupp would have to cut in all the time on the right wing. Personally thought dyer looks lathargic yesterday, but more than anything I've put that down to them marking him out of the game Just worried if we don't capitalise on his potential soon, we may lose it altogether
