Bevan Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 I think this will be a tough game but we should have enough to beat them, I think forest away will be the end of our excellent run
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Win this and we will go 13 points clear as QPR don't play until Monday night. Could do with Derby doing us a favour in that one as well.
Grey Fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 I think this will be a tough game but we should have enough to beat them, I think forest away will be the end of our excellent run If forest beat Preston on Wednesday then our game with them will be rearranged. That could mean we now have 3 home games in a row, with the chance of extending the winning run to 12 games, and forest wouldn't get the chance to end the run just yet.

If Forest win the rearranged game is only 3 days later
Lionator Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Without sounding rude...F*** these. Smash 'em, take ruthless to a new level. Humiliate them, make them feel crap, grab them by the throat and rub their noses in it. 6-0.
Grey Fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 If Forest win the rearranged game is only 3 days later Where does it say that? Even if that is true, it would still suit us for them to beat Preston, so they will be more tired when we play them.
JonnyBoy Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 their defence were so so bad the other day but dangerous on the attack. 6-2 Leicester
kingfox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Before they turned good last season, we'd usually hit 4 against these at home. Their defence looks really poor, but Deeney & Forestieri can pop up with a goal out of nothing, Angella dangerous from set plays. 3-1 or 4-1 win I think.
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 I cant see anything other than another good home win. Same side, if possible.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Tough game I think 2-1 to Leicester but could go either way. Like others desperate for us to make it 10 wins though a Leicester win
My Nads Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 complacency!!! Its come at a good time. I can't see this team ever being complacent againt Watford. One-sided thrashing, several-0!!! Nugent 3, vardy 2, Knochart and Dyer!!
Happy Fox Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Kasper De Laet Morgan Wasyl Konchesky Knockaert Drinkwater James Mahrez Vardy Nugent Subs: Wood, KP, Miguel, Hammond, King, Dyer and Logan. 2-0 City win Vardy and Mahrez.
Callabinho Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 This will be the first riot this season! They're terrible at the back, and we will still be hurting as a result of THAT day. I'm going to stick my neck out and say 5-1 city.
wight88 Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 We owe these and the players won't need a team talk to get them fired up. 5000 city fans to invade the pitch and the birch to take the mic and sing 'say we are going up' see if they can take it as well as they dish it out. Horrible arrogant small minded southern gimps. Hope they go down n all.
Super_horns Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Actually believe it or not we did have a decent defensive record since Sannino came in before the last 2 games.. Hadn't let in a goal from open play up till the Man City game. Not sure we are really that much of a threat up front really...depends which mood the forward players turn up in. Anyway Nugent and Phillips are bound to score as usual against us so not expecting much...but its the Championship.
Finnaldo Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 First time I've been fully confident for a while. After the shambles against Forest you can only see a win if we turn up. When Forest started scoring they flopped like a sack of shite, and if we manage to score first I can see a rout.
4ever and ever Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Not complaining here, but we seem to have had several scrappy performances where we have won ugly. I'm talking about Leeds, Boro, Birmingham and now Bournemouth. It would be nice to have a really good performance where we show our class and top flight prospects. But...if the ball bounces in off Kevin Phillip's ass in the 87th minute, then that will do too. Scrappy at Birmingham???!!! Take it you didn't go to the game, one of the best passing performances I have seen from us
Fox92 Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Think it might be difficult but they've had a two goal collapse for two weeks running if you include Manchester City (yeah, I know). There's no reason why we can't beat these. Not so fussed about "we have got to beat these" attitude, I think the league table speaks for itself.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 These are a different side from last season. If you were to take Vydra and Chalobah out of anyone's starting xi in this division it would make a difference. Thank god he's not around to do this again.
Super_horns Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Plus a fit Abdi. With all the players we've got in recently I am not sure what the team will be!
MGLCFC Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Is Abdi not fit, Super horns? Too much confidence on here - Watford will want to stop our promotion push, and whilst we are capable of winning this game, there's going to come a game where we don't have the rub of the green. I hoping for a comfortable 3 - 0 victory, but can see a 2 - 2 draw happening.
Brooksy Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 To be fair that Chalobah goal is one of the best I've seen live. Unbelievable strike.
