LeicesterBran Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 According to football direct news.com then yes. http://www.footballdirectnews.com/premier-league-news/41735-arsenal-defender-could-make-leicester-switch.php#.UxDPo4Xn8gSall I'd be happy if he joins us on pernament deal and I reckon he'll be a quality Premiership CB one day. What do you guys think ?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Everytime I have seen him he has been very good, would be a good capture...
westernpark Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 He's always at our games even when injured, which is very unusual for a loan player, so could be true.
MPH Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 i would interpret this as meaning if we get promoted, they will let us loan him for another year.
Langston Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 i would interpret this as meaning if we get promoted, they will let us loan him for another year. Out of contract this summer.
GingerrrFox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Wouldn't say no to a back 4 of De Laet, Moore, Miquel, Cresswell in a couple of years time.
Fox92 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Surpised he hasn't been making the bench now he's fit again. Good player, especially on the ball which you'd expect of an Arsenal player, and I'd certainly take him for free even if it's as cover.
Mark_w Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 'Football Direct News' doesn't sound or look like the most reliable of websites.
dmayne7 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Not a huge fan. If he's cheap and happy to bide his time then I'd be more than happy to have him as he's got potential but he's comfortably 4th choice at the moment.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 As squad cover he would be ok I suppose Bit injury prone though?
LAprice_ Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 I can't remember the game, but he once gave a post-match interview in which he continually used the phrase "We want to be in the Premier League next year". This was from a long time ago, so unrelated to any rumours but it just goes to show that he is just as much a Leicester player as anyone else. I was just very impressed with his wording and his loyalty. Very good pro, would be a brilliant signing in my opinion!

lcfcsnow Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 I'm not sure about him. He's only started 10 games and we've lost 5 of them, we've only lost 7 all season.
sylofox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Why would we want him? Taking it that we go up we need players for the first team not players for the bench. If he was playing everyweek and ripping it up fine but he ain't. Be a waste of money for me if he can't hold down a place in the championship he ain't a prem player. Waste of money IMO
Munshi Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Crap source yes, but i'd take him, he's played in the Prem for Arsenal too.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 This isn't just a crap source, it's a notoriously crap source
Dickov22 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 He was AWFUL at Stoke. Otherwise, looks classy
sdb Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Don't see enough in him personally. Why would our 4th/5th choice CB, and 3rd choice LB be worth signing now when promotion is looking possible?
CPW22 Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 He got dominated away at Stoke. He isn't strong enough to be playing CB at the minute. He has time though and Pearson would develop him.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Aldis own brand? They sell sauces in Aldi not so sure about sources. Nice try though
