I reckon, depending on the contract talks this summer, there will be in between five to seven new signings.

 

A back-up goalkeeper, one new player for each defensive position (three in total - one LB, one CB, one RB), one or two new midfielders and one more striker/winger.

I've upped my quota to 22 new players after last night lol

Babylon, that is good. We have upon many occasions been 'at odds' with each other, but today we are on a similar wavelength.

What worries me is that if we had 15 points deducted for not turning up for last nights match we would not manage to get promoted through the play-offs.

I said 6 as I think we'll release/sell a fair few.

 

GK - a decent one at that as I think that Kasper will only stay one more year so if they bide their time they will be first choice the season after.

CB - One with premiership experience.

LB - Schlupp is decent but I think he would be massively exposed next season and as much as I like Konchesky he hasn't really played well this season.

RB - De laet is good but I would worry if he got injured and as we saw against Brighton Moore is a CB

CM - This is one I think we'll get a possible big name with some premiership experience like scott parker if we could afford him, him and james breaking up the play for drinky, knocky and mahrez as I do think we will change to a 4-2-3-1 at times.

ST - I don't think Nuge will cut it in the prem and might be a too big a step up for vardy so we will need a striker but not sure who.

GK serious competition for schmeichel

RB at least a decent back up for de laet

LB wouldn't keep konchesky

CB preferably prem experience

CM same as above maybe 2 (1 attacking and 1defensive)

WIDEMAN another option and could allow knocky to play a CAM role

ST need someone with a decent record In a top league we waste a lot of chances

That makes 7(/8)

Left back

A top centre half

Versitile defender

Someone on par with Drinkwater

Someone to replace Dyer

Someone to replace Nuge in number 10 role

Clinical striker to compete with Vardy

I think 2, not because I want 2 I would like 5 top quality signings but this is Pearson we are talking about! He never makes too many signings and he will want to keep the squad together

He does, he doesn't just chuck them all in the team though.

Ideally i think

A back up keeper

A full back who can play either side

A centre back

A centre mid

A winger

A striker

Optomistic maybe but would give us a decent chance and a better squad to cope with unjuries etc
