Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 It's not that bad when you look at the quality on our bench
Munshi Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 It's not that bad when you look at the quality on our bench Yeah Logan does add that extra special something in attack.
AKCJ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 It's not that bad when you look at the quality on our bench Which makes me think... why have James and Wasyl been completely dropped? Are they injured?
Fox92 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I obviously trust Nige, but 6 changes and more importantly James and Drinkwater both left out!?
Mark_from_USA Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Yeah Logan does add that extra special something in attack. Naw, he will come on in goal and we will run Kasper the salmon up in attack.
Leicesterpool Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Six changes eh? well can't complain some players need a rest and others need game time.
AKCJ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 This is what the Wigan fans wanted. --------------------Al Habsi--------------------- ---------Boyce-----Barnett------- Ramis------- Perch---------------------------------------------Crainey -----------McArthur------Collison----------- --McManaman----------------------Powell---- --------------------Maynard-------------------- Read more: http://www.wigan.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=25139&posts=29#ixzz2xexMl4PP
Finnaldo Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Last time Nigel brought out a 'B' team we won 3-0 at Millwall. I won't comment on the team till they start playing, although it was obvious that some players would need a rest.

Plus Wigan are a much better side that Millwall. But I agree with the point you're making. We're still a strong side.
stb1996 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Jason Bourne mentioned that the game was on 5 live sports extra. Does anyway know if thats the radio leicester commentary or the radio wigan (?) commentary?
Captain... Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 What's he risking? You said we were already promoted, and Burnley have lost the strikers who put them where they are. Erm, the match, whilst I am certain we have got promoted, I still want us to win the title, and win tonight. The risk is too many changes, not saying we are definitely going to lose this, I'm not saying np has got the selection wrong. I'm just saying that we have known about these fixtures for a long time and we could have prepared better so we didn't have to make 6 changes at once and specifically play 2 centre mids that have barely played all year. It is a risk, if it pays off then great, but I have been a big advocate of rotating players throughout the season rather than making lots of changes at the same time.
Fox Ulike Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Bear in mind that the squad would probably have been told before the Burnley game about the changes for tonights game. This is what allowed them to give 100% at burnley, knowing that they wouldnt have to "save something" for tuesday. Pearson knows what he's doing.
Oshhhh Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 BkJ1GXvIIAAiJFv.jpg We stayed in the same hotel as bayern last night Where did you find that Picture its great! Any more?
StanSP Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Jason Bourne mentioned that the game was on 5 live sports extra. Does anyway know if thats the radio leicester commentary or the radio wigan (?) commentary? Probably Wigan.
Thameclaret Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Well guys, finally got my positive head back on after have our bottoms spanked on Saturday! Just thought I would wish you well tonight and congratulate Leicester on a thoroughly first class performance last Saturday. Lots of ifs and might have beens, Football is all about the ups and downs and at the moment I'm laughing at the Clarets Mad Forum as it appears to replicate the Leicester one after Yeovil's game last week - we're doomed, all the boards fault...etc...etc Enough sucking up, well done....we are however looking for an emergency loan goalkeeper that has an eye for goal (does Schmichael) have a brother? See you next year
iancognito Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Pearson knows what he's doing. Absolutely Also a lot of people came on after Yeovil whingeing that "this is what happens when you don't change the team for a month and players get jaded" All of the players have been in and around the team all season and are perfectly capable of getting at least a point there tonight.
weller54 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Lose tonight, doesn't matter as long as we beat Wednesday on Friday.... If you know what I mean!
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Every player in that squad is good enough to play in it. But it concerns me that whacking 6 different players in at once may be changing the formula in a winning team a bit too much. I hope I'm proved wrong. Lets get behind them and see what happens.
Unabomber Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Enough sucking up, well done....we are however looking for an emergency loan goalkeeper that has an eye for goal (does Schmichael) have a brother? See you next year He has a pet polar bear called Conrad Logan you can have for a little while.
Buce Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Pearson: "If Marcin is late for a meeting, we change the time of the meeting.."
Happy Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Author Posted 1 April 2014 Our team is still strong, good enough to beat Wigan without a shadow of a doubt.
