fuchsntf Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 What a top forward display, what an amateur defensive display. Liverpool midfield and defense, the most unstable of any top 6 in Pl history. Plonkers..
Jimmy Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Glen Johnson went Glen Johnson, didn't bother closing down or defending properly in the last 30 mins
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Who gives a fvck Were Leicester boys and were going up
Littletoe Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Shame really. I wanted Liverpool to win the title, as Gerrard is only missing that medal. I think Rodgers subs today messed it up for them... As much as I praised him this season, his subs today vs Palace cost him 2 points.
Devonfox1884 Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Got to give palace credit, mind. They didn't give up. Great stuff.
lifted*fox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Game over for them, choked it massively. Shame really, wanted them to win the league over Man City.
Fox92 Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 I wanted Liverpool to win it. Nice for a change, nice for a British manager and nice to see a club that doesn't just go out and spend millions.
xHamzah Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Can't wait for college tomorrow! But they really need to learn how to defend for the sake of England in the Champions League.
Buzzell Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 It's would of been great to see Gerrard finally lift the PL trophy. Ahh well...
Guesty Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 How many times has Glen Johnson's name been mentioned by Carragher and Neville in the analysis of the this 3 goal collapse, .
fazzyfox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Whatever Rodgers said at the end of the game a lot of his players were pushing for 4,5,6 goals presuming Man City will get 6 points. He said make sure of the 3 points but they obviously saw a 3-0 or 3-1 win as not enough. I can't believe no one has ever sat Glen Johnson down and showed him footage of his version of chasing back. It's like a pub player who's 11-0 down, suffering from cramp and had a few pints at half time. Please someone hide his passport in the next few weeks.
Kitchandro Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Glen Johnson is a shocking full back and it's a nightmare that he's been playing for England over the last few years. At least partly at fault for all 3 goals tonight and is just a shit all round player. It's just a shame we haven't really got any good right backs.

I know it will fall on stoney ground, but Johnson has lost it.. I used to like him for RB. Hodgson, shouldnt even pick him for Back up.His positioning sense anywhere on the pitch, and his tackling is no longer PL standard let alone good enough for the world stage. I am not impressed with replacements, but they are better than Glenn. This is looking over the last 2 seasons not just this match.
ramboacdc Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 my dad and sister are liverpool fans. my sister couldn't believe it and my dad hasn't spoke to me since i text him a pic of me with the championship trophy with the title "real teams win titles."i really hope there is one more twist on wednesday at the etihad. i hate man city fans that much.
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 They just aren't strong enough. Having a 7th placed squad and turning it into a title winning team would've been a magnificent achievement.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 very goodGenuinely hope Man City win the title personally
The Doctor Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 I wanted Liverpool to win it. Nice for a change, nice for a British manager and nice to see a club that doesn't just go out and spend millions. Fairly sure they're the second biggest spenders in the past couple of years... They have just gone and spent millions.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 So pleased it looks like the Scousers aren't doing it
