Guest Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 For me Thought Chris Wood had a stop start season and didn't really make the improvements expected He got quite a few goals despite being down the pecking order behind an excellent main pairing. Of course his season was going to be a bit stop start but he contributed to the success of the team.
Mark_w Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 For me Thought Chris Wood had a stop start season and didn't really make the improvements expected He did, but that's because of the partnership between Nugent and Vardy that was very strong. Wood has still looked pretty good when he's got into the team, I think he could be very important next season.
kingcarr21 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 lack of Balti pies beat me to it will rep it just for beating me haha
Harry - LCFC Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Personally I was disappointed we fielded such a weak team in the League Cup quarter final. Thought we'd have given them a good game with a better eleven. Perhaps I ask too much.
RobHawk Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 As someone who lives away and cant get to as many games as i'd like, my biggest disappointment has to be some of our 'fans' in some of the matchday threads! Miles clear at the top of the league, breaking records left right and centre and still doom mongering when we go 1-0 down!

Just how many goals did he get - 3 in the league (one a header he knew nothing about, one a rebound from Kasper's header and the other a well taken goal v Ipswich) For a big lad, he's doesn't appear over physical and still has problems in the air IMO. I know he's still young, but from his first couple of months I feel he has regressed.

I agree with you overall though and im sure he would agree. Individually its been a disappointing season for him.
Fox92 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Rockin' All Over The World wasn't played loud enough after the Doncaster match... What was that about!?
broughtonblue Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Brighton at home, major letdown for me Still we were that bad we were laughing at the end!

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Personally thought the season could've done with a touch more Sam Bailey.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 In all honesty this season really couldn't have gone any sweeter, even Kermorgant has provided some great moments (teeing up Grabban, destroying Forest).
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 People sitting down and not singing at the back of sk4 on Saturday. Dull. It was supposed to be a day to celebrate yet practically nobody wanted to sing anything except championies!!
