davieG Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 But you have us Too much instant pessimism on here besides I can't get online during a match not that i'd want to.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Not beating Forest, not breaking Reading's 106 points record… other than that it's been perfect really!
David Lowe Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 2 deaths at the stadium in recent weeks took some of the gloss off the celebrations. On the playing side I think it would be picky to come up with any disappointments.
Corky Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I'd have loved a really huge win this season, given we had a 6, 5 and 4 goal win last season when we were nowhere near as consistent or brilliant.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 The hungover performance against Brighton. Very embarrassing.
Steven Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 That people have to try and find something to be disappointed about after such a great season Quite.
MGLCFC Posted 6 May 2014 Author Posted 6 May 2014 That people have to try and find something to be disapointed about after such a great season Think it's just a case of reflection - in what's been a fantastic season, there are things as a club, team, set of supporters that could be improved upon. That's how we'll make progress if we can iron out things that aren't correct. Whether that be Balti pies, players not making the progress expected, defeats to our rivals etc. I just wanted to know if fellow fans felt improvements could be made.
MC Prussian Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Looking back, there's not a lot to criticize, really. As mentioned on another thread, I'd love to see the club and the city work together to raise the profile of the club both outside the stadium (with small improvements, such as a statue or a wall of legends) and within the city (with LCFC and its colours being more present in different areas in town).
Narborough_fox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Doncaster away. Christ almighty that was a depressing day.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 A few small gripes. 1 - Not winning promotion on our own terms, with QPR and Derby both 'doing us a favour' the next day. I would have preferred us to beat Wednesday as we did, and then the next game would've been win it to get up. 2 - The loss against Brighton, which is directly tied to the above, I really don't see us capitulating as we did, if we'd been playing for promotion still. Plus I think we would have gone the rest of the season unbeaten and maybe even got 107 points? 3 - Not beating Forest, and losing to them too.
Sunbury Fox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Only scoring four against Derby at home. Should have been 7 or 8! :-)
foxile5 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I have nothing to say to criticise the football club, players or management throughout the season. However, the Football League show have shown their true colours, what utterly appauling and abysmal coverage of us. Not just at the end, but through the season. Anyone'd think that ****ing Burnley won the league at a canter playing Samba football. Maneesh, too. Leicester fan, is he? Am I expected to believe he has literally ZERO input to the show.

foxile5 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Maneesh is just a puppet. That as though it may be, I find it impossible to believe that he has no creative input. 'We're not showing the trophy presentation of the team you know I support?'.
Guest MattP Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Small one from Saturday actually. The badges and flags having 'promotion' on instead of 'champions' - surely they could have waited a little bit even if the cost on the order would be a little more.
Happy Fox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 There is f**King one that the sheepshaggers have scored more goals than us albeit only one more you bastards.
stevie lynex on the wing Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 the fans who didnt sing during the match BOLTON (A) upper teir .and last match at home v doncaster .
ceredigion Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 If Derby go up in the play-offs that will be a minor disappointment of sorts, but at least it will be compensated by seeing how Forest imploded with 15 games to go. Hopefully ''Psycho'' will continue where they left off next season.
