Matt Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Every week the results make ours look worse and worse. Whilst I was willing other teams to help us out today, we do our own shit, that's all we can effect. We win tomorrow and we reel them all in abit. We put Burnley bottom and go joint 3rd bottom, there a slight gimmer of light, ok the games coming up don't fill me with enthusiasm but a win tomorrow is a must.
Babylon Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Every week the results make ours look worse and worse. Frustrating when you think of the points chucked away through silly errors. West Brom and Burnley the most annoying.
Spicer Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 We are getting left adrift at the foot of the table. Even three points tomorrow and we will either be 19th or 18th due to goal difference. We need to win desperately.
Fox92 Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Just looked at the league table. Good grief. Need a win.
RowlattsFox Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Stating the obvious but we need to win tomorrow, the biggest problem being the games that come after. Can't see our next point if we don't get any tomorrow.
dogadug Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Aguero injured, could miss next weeks game Looking for any slight positives at the moment
MC Prussian Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Aguero injured, could miss next weeks game Looking for any slight positives at the moment Yeah, my Fantasy Premier League team is fvcked now.
MC Prussian Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Amazing how this is just dawning on a few people. It feels as if they've been in a cryogenic state for a few weeks.
Oshhhh Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Yeah, my Fantasy Premier League team is fvcked now. Was my captain he only got 2 points
dogadug Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Yeah, my Fantasy Premier League team is fvcked now. Same! Willing to sacrifice that if it gives us the slightest better chance at getting something though. Saying that wouldn't surprise me if this Pozo kid starts and gets a hat-trick anyway
foxes_rule1978 Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 city's season over 5 hours after it beganSure it is a major blow to lose Aguero but I doubt they are that dependant on Aguero, they have enough quality to cope without.Soft penalties does help
Mark_w Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 I don't actually think Alan Pardew is a bad manager. I think he played a fairly significant role in getting Southampton to where they are now, he's had one below average season, one pretty average season and one incredible season with Newcastle (which is fair enough when you consider the fact that he took over not long after they had been in the Championship). I think they'd be making a mistake if they sack him, hope they do because if they get the appointment wrong they could be dragged into the relegation battle and I don't think they will be if they stick with him. If I may quote Col for a second, 'hate to say I told you so'.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 If I may quote Col for a second, 'hate to say I told you so'. Cambiasso
Dan Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Alan Pardew is a mediocre manager at best. They will still finish in the bottom half when their luck runs out. Sure it is a major blow to lose Aguero but I doubt they are that dependant on Aguero, they have enough quality to cope without.Soft penalties does help They should do but he makes a huge difference for them. If he's out for next week then I'm not quite as worried as I was, though I still expect to be well beaten.
Corky Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Amazing how this is just dawning on a few people. You need to let us know more often, Matt.
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 If I may quote Col for a second, 'hate to say I told you so'. Good call that Mark. Where's Waggy now btw? Genuine question..is he playing?
Mark_w Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Good call that Mark. Where's Waggy now btw? Genuine question..is he playing? Nope, he's about the only person at Wigan who isn't guilty of anything.
Matt Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 You need to let us know more often, Matt. Maybe I should, its quite obviously not been getting through to people though.
Corky Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Good. Don't want Chelsea to go unbeaten all season, the comparisons with Arsenal are repetitive and boring. I don't think Chelsea were that bothered about going unbeaten.
Jimothy Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 I don't think Chelsea were that bothered about going unbeaten. Yeah, because everyone want to lose at least once.
