MGLCFC Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 I wonder at 31 what length of contract he will be offered, as it appears Leicester are reluctant to offer Nugent 3 years and he's only 29?
Corky Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 It says that trabzonspor offered 5 million, but then leicester offered 6.5 which has been accepted. It says Euros, so it's roughly £5.2 million.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 At first I was horrified seeing the thread title, then I was laughing at the posts. Now I watch in hope.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Also I think Nige saw Cardozo's performances for my Benfica team in LCFC Desire's first Fantasy League thread
Unabomber Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Mahrez's through balls to Cardozo oh man please become reality.
eddylcfc Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Cardozo strikes me as a similar player to Negredo. Not as quick probably but is big, strong and one hell of a shot. Think he could adapt very well to English football more than say a small quick forward that could struggle with the physicality. If we pull this off... Beans everywhere
Corky Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Mahrez's through balls to Cardozo oh man please become reality. Cardozo and GTF up front
LeicesterBran Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 I'm a big fan of him and would love him here as a marquee signing. It'd be fvcking fantastic if we could sign him and if we did am sure that he'd score 15 goals in the Premiership.
4ever and ever Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Cant be true, surely. Would be an incredible signing. Also 6.5 million Euros is not that high either.
kingfox Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 I like Turkey as in food, but now I think I love Turkey as a country. Their football based media is bloody awesome.
Ric Flair Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Always thought Cardozo was a right lazy bastard, which is a pre-requisite for players who aren't Pearson type players. Got a bull hammer of a left foot mind you.
Yuki! Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 We will potentially have a strike force of the Europa league top scorer from 3 years ago, and the conference top scorer from 3 years ago!
dpjfox Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 not a normal type Pearson signing, but a guarantee of goals could swing it you never know, the fans and probably the owners would welcome ay least one high profile signing as long as he has the attitude/personality to integrate into the current team family bond
cc_star Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 He's actually said that the Russia league appeals to him as good players go there Likely destination is Rubin Kazan or Locomotiv Moscow In other words he wants millions a year & not to push himself
TJB-fox Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 This would be simply brilliant, quality player. I think he'd thrive being our 'main man' if you like, like he did at Benfica 3/4 years ago. Since they've started playing Lima instead and their twat of a manager made a point of not playing him, I think he'd be desperate to come to the prem
Robin JD Popley Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Another 'great' translation - this time from Futborsa Haber who appear to be a footballing blog site. I know there seems to be some confusion where he will end up, but, from what I've read into this it looks like he will/could end up with us. LOVE the line that reads; "Leicester City Footballer, who agree on everything". "Trabzonspor's Oscar Cardozo located at the top of the transfer list, England's representative at Leicester City came up that aspire. Taylanl businessman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha quickly with the purchase shield to attack the British team, the transfer is top of the list when allocating 220 million euros received Cardozo experienced. Air ball striker who wish to transfer to a dominant Leicester City, started initiatives for Paraguayan striker. Abola according to reports reaching the UK Championship and the championship chases success in the English Premier League Leicester City, Cardozo quite high salaries offered. Leicester City footballer, who agree on everything, Benfica started to negotiate with the management testimonial. Trabzonspor received a positive response at the first meeting of the dilatoriness of the transfer Cardozo, from Paraguay, which will cause the star's hand seems to escape."
65RosesFox Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 .. I can see the excitement is getting to you. Calm yourself!
