Hollism Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 "It's been another good test for England" Well we've failed to score against 10 Man Honduras so I don't think we've fvcking passed any tests
steveherbe Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 What a waste of a night, and 4 weeks more of this rubbish to come. Hate england, love Leicester. Cmon algeria!
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 And people were saying the Peru game was worrying....
MooseBreath Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Haven't seen anything in these friendlies to suggest we're capable of winning any of our group games
Tielemans63 Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 It was Gary Neville by the way... I'm seriously beginning to question whether we're going to win this World Cup.
ScouseFox Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 wow that might overtake leicester 0-0 stoke 2003 as the most boring 3 hours of my life
BlueSi13 Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 What a waste of a night, and 4 weeks more of this rubbish to come. Hate england, love Leicester. Cmon algeria! OK, weird. Very very poor offensively tonight, played some nice possession football but never really looked threatening against 10 men and one of the weakest sides in the tournament. But then again we all knew this isn't a great side and we are highly unlikely to escape the group so there's no point being too concerned.
Strokes Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 There is a team somewhere in that squad, hopefully Roy can find it before its too late.
Leicesterpool Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Dearie me that was awful to watch, no positives out of that.
Bert Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Think the storm played a big part in the game. Also believe that the players started losing interest after seeing that all they wanted to do was kick us. Created chances. Perfect summing up here from Gerrard.
Brooksy Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 I'd love to be proved wrong but I honestly can't see us getting out of the group.
Leicesterpool Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Yeah the refereeing was poor, alot of dirty fouls from a dirty side to be honest. As Gerrard said lucky to come away injury free, but still doesn't take away a dreadful performance from us.
BoneDog Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Lost some money on that pisser! Had us to score in both halves. Worst thing is my Mrs asked me to put a bet on for her score 0-0. Told her I had done but thought f*&k that no chance. Lost my money and now got to give her about 20 gold coins that she thinks she won. 0 frickin 0 how did that happen? Could have been worse. At half-time cos I'd lost my goal in both half's bet I nearly went in-play to have us to score 2 or more 2nd half. Lucky escape.
ScouseFox Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 chiles still sweating away in that jacket. gotta hand it to him he is really persevering with this one
Fox92 Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Same old. Rubbish. Boring. Nothing to do with a "vendetta against Roy" (as some say) I just don't rate him and I've seen nothing to suggest we will get out of our group. Bloody Honduras ffs.
Donut Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 1) Gerrard and Henderson were sucking the life out of the game with the slow tempo and no intensity. 2) Jack Wilshere is incredibly overrated, and before anyone says "hes not fully fit" well dont ****ing pick him then. 3) We didnt move the ball around quickly enough against the 10 men, didnt make the pitch big, and didnt have enough cutting edge. 4) Danny Welbeck i thought did pretty well tonight, despite the clamour to not have him in the side. 5) Ross Barkley is staking a serious claim to start the group games.
BlueSi13 Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 The last three games have possibly highlighted that we will probably treat the Italians with too much respect and will give them a free pass to a 0-0 or even 1-0 win, the Uruguayans will really capitalise on our weak defence and the Costa Ricans could park the bus like the Hondurans have tonight and we'll make a real dogs dinner of breaking them down. Plenty of potential, but very weak execution thus far from us.
GingerrrFox Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Germany proved 4 years ago that age counts for shit, if you are good enough you play. Now look at them for this tournament. On playing style Oxlade-Chamberlain (if fit), Sterling, Barkley and Henderson all deserve to start. Also I personally would play Wilshire in there because he's dynamic and looks to start attacks from deep.

I agree to everything you say apart from number 4.
Samilktray Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 What exactly does Wilshere offer us. Him in an England shirt baffles me. What a waste of a night, and 4 weeks more of this rubbish to come. Hate england, love Leicester. Cmon algeria! You are a silly man.
MooseBreath Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Hodge, "the last three weeks couldn't have gone any better." Seriously Roy, who do you think you are kidding
Bert Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Thought Welbeck did well tonight too. Pleasing news about the Ox.
