New Fixtures - Everton @ home 1st game.

Everton are in the Europa League aren't they? Though they came 5th so I doubt that's going to be affected as they'd have an automatic group place.

Why would Arsenal be moved? Surely their CL play-off would be Tuesday or Wednesday? That can only benefit us though IMO though wouldn't we have a League Cup game on that week anyway?

Couldn't care less for Chelsea away. **** paying the wrong side of £50 to see us toyed with by the latest set of FM wonderkids. Stoke away isn't happening for me unless it's moved.

We could be waiting a while for a win.

First two months I reckon...

Everton - draw

Chelsea - lose

Arsenal - lose

Stoke - draw

Man Utd - lose

Palace - draw

I think we've got it in us to get something off most teams at home though.

It's a shame we released Taft now, He has the potential to be Englands CB at the next WC. We could of shown off our wonderkid.

EDIT - My bad I forgot he wasn't released he was poached on regen day by Burton Albion

Some right pessimistic peeps on here, I am realistic we won't struggle at at all, we will finish 12th-15th. Keep the f**king faith, we will win games, we lose a fair few, but I don't see us in a relegation battle at all.

Imo we are better than 5 times at the moment, Villa, Burnley, QPR, West Brom and Swansea.

It's those horrible Europa League games that move fixtures to Sunday 1.30pm kick-offs, they're no good to man nor beast.

could be good for us if we catch sides after they have played away in this competition - I'm not sure what the win percentage was but sides like Spurs always seemed to tank after playing their league match following a EL game

I'm back in Leicester sept 13 so was hoping for a home game but Stoke away is doable.

Only miss games against palace and burnley while I'm on holiday so that's ok.

First three home games are guaranteed sell outs against top sides so we should have a good atmosphere. Always feel we are better when underdogs (Man City excepted last season), we need to play a part.

Tv predictions for first game would be:

12.45 burnley Chelsea BT

5.15 man utd v Swansea

1.30 Leicester v Everton

4pm Newcastle v man city

MNF west ham v spurs

Don't wanna pay £50 to go to Chelsea,but don't think I

can wait till mid September for my 1st away day.

Yeh to think at one time, if you won the pools or lotto, you could be an owner.

The prawn sandwiches at chelsea are more expensive than the entry fees at some grounds.

see if city catereries prices go up fot the PL. 10 quid pasties and balties would be too much.

Most, including me would just rather keep our hopes low.

I'm defo taking some toffees to the first game of the season

For all the shit Bert gets for providing information on transfers that at times doesn't come to fruition, I think people owe him an apology. Transfers are complicated and sometimes the info he gets won't result in an actual signing, but if you want proof he gets good info, telling us the first fixture a full 45 minutes before it's released and staying our next two matches are tough should be proof enough.

Everton, Chelsea & Arsenal our first three matches, I think I've just spunked myself with excitement, but also felt a tear roll down my face.

Tough, exciting; however bring it on.

We will almost definitely be moved for either BT or Sky against Everton. Newly promoted team against a side who play attractive football is a winner for TV.

Fingers crossed it gets moved to the Sunday

****s sake. Four ****ing emails all identical in the space of five minutes from the club.... Glad to see things have improved.

I imagine Bert gets his info from Stringer as they seem pretty close. With Stringer in a privileged position within BBC local radio he would sometimes get some advanced knowledge which he may pass onto Bert.
