Aus Fox Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Now with England gone, who is everyone jumping on the band wagon for? I seem to be a kiss of death, I started with the obvious England and Austrlia, although I excited Australia to go home early England was a disappointment. I then jumped on Big Sol Bamba and his Ivorians, they then fell. Obviously Mahrez and Algeria I would like to see go as far as they can go, but I think Columbia are now the team for me. The reason see the women of the World Cup thread. They are already winners in my eyes.
foxfanazer Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 I've enjoyed watching Colombia so if Algeria go out I'd like them to go far. James Rodriguez is the man!
Fox92 Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 I always want Netherlands to win once England are out. Just always liked everything about them.
Amin Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 If Brazil go out, I hope Chile or Colombia can go all the way.
Bert Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Argentina. Me and my mate have bet them and my dream team has 5 of their lads in it and I'm doing ok in the money league I am in. It'd be nice if there was a new name on the Jules Rimet though if Argentina can't do the business.
Beliall Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 brazil, for my bet, or USA, any african team, chile, for the fans,
HEGGSY Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 I've had £10 on Argentina so I wouldn't mind them winning it However, I've been very impressed with Colombia, so if Argentina fail, I'd like to see them go all the way
MC Prussian Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 France have an unbelievably talented, willing and homogenous squad right now - spirits are high, they are working their socks off and come up with brilliant displays.
Stadt Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 France have an unbelievably talented, willing and homogenous squad right now - spirits are high, they are working their socks off and come up with brilliant displays.Besides yesterday.
Guest MattP Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Chile and Colombia as I'm on them both at 40's. Argentina if not and Messi to confirm his legend by beating Brazil in the final.
lc4lcfc Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Columbia will make me £32 if they win so no question really. Greece for my other sweep stake
martyn Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Mexico. Wife is Mexican so an obvious one, but it's flown under the radar a bit how well they have performed, given how utterly abysmal they were in qualifying. Plus the coach is fantastic... If not then Colombia...
MC Prussian Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Columbia, Chile, Algeria, USA, or Switzerland. Algeria and the US are not through yet.
MooseBreath Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 In order of my preferred winner 1) any of the unfancied smaller nations, costa rica, chile etc 2) any european excluding germany 3) Argentina 4) Anyone else excluding brazil or germany 5) germany 6) brazil
ScouseFox Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Holland. Arjen Robben. Wouldn't mind either France or Argentina winning, the latter purely for financial reasons.
AKCJ Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 I've enjoyed watching Colombia so if Algeria go out I'd like them to go far. James Rodriguez is the man! This.
Grandad. Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Like to see USA to get as far as they can. Wouldn't mind Brazil or Argentina winning it.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Costa Rica and Chile in the sweepstake so with I'd better go with them. Amazingly I think Costa Rica have the better chance of making the quarters :-/
Lionator Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Colombia, I think they have a real chance of winning the thing. They're the only team who look totally convincing at both ends.
Far Post Gerry Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 Love to see Costa Rica get to the semis. Holland to win it.
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 I had an Argentina/Messi combo at the start of the tournament. So I'd like to see a return. The team I'd most like to progress further are Algeria, who's team ethic is a joy to behold. My biggest bet has come in already. England not to progress.
