jammie82uk Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 why be on a forum, that is a place for people to discuss each others views and opinions, if you don't actually want to read other peoples views and opinions? Agreed but this is a thread about Troy deeney of which nothing has been posted about him in about the last 3 pages
jayfox26 Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Agreed but this is a thread about Troy deeney of which nothing has been posted about him in about the last 3 pages most of the discussions have been about the fact that some people feel we could get better players than Deeney/Ulloa, so yes there hasn't been any direct news about Deeney but most of the conversations have still involved him. Sort of haha
Hack Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Would he really want Sigthorsson, Remy, Deeney, Austin and Zamora though? Zamora has been released, a chance for him to play for Sydney FC in the A-League, I have a source at SFC.
Ed25 Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Zamora has been released, a chance for him to play for Sydney FC in the A-League, I have a source at SFC. He signed a new contract with QPR like two weeks ago?
Guest Col city fan Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 He signed a new contract with QPR like two weeks ago? Yep..one yr contract extension.
dannythefox Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 I suppose the same thing could be said about Pearson wanting Ulloa, Deeney, Vardy, Nugent, Wood and Taylor-Fletcher wood won't be here imo and fletcher can play out from midfield so we would only have 4 strikers with deeney coming in which is what we need
little Brian Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 wood won't be here imo and fletcher can play out from midfield so we would only have 4 strikers with deeney coming in which is what we need Wood wont be here ? sez who ? a few muppet Leicester fans that aint got a clue .............
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 I told you yesterday man well Torino are paying 45k a week for quag. Did you man? Who are you his agent
Deucalion Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Wood wont be here ? sez who ? a few muppet Leicester fans that aint got a clue ............. Wood wants first team football and will drop a division to get it.
dannythefox Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Wood wont be here ? sez who ? a few muppet Leicester fans that aint got a clue ............. you really think he'll get infront of Vardy ulloa Nugent and another striker if we get one? Someone hasn't got a clue!
JJS84 Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 Did you man? Who are you his agent Well that was meant to be manwell, auto correct thought better to separate the words. Not his agent just pointing out a fact that he is getting paid a lot more that you think and our club is prepared to pay.

Even still 45s fine in my eyes, I'm sceptical of this 30k cap any way I bet Kaspers new deal is 40+
Ric Flair Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 And again, this information is coming from where? Even still 45s fine in my eyes, I'm sceptical of this 30k cap any way I bet Kaspers new deal is 40+ I bet it's not. A large proportion of players aren't on £40-50,000 or more. Even Jan Vertonghen is only on 40k a week at Spurs and they signed him when he was one of the best young defenders in Europe.

It matters not anyway as Quag is not on 45k a week, even the stupid salary figure on google that claimed BA was on 150k a week only has on 40, so in reality he's probably sub 30. EDIT: Any way, Troy Deeney
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 What's money, anyway? Just a piece of plastic. New thread on Plastic Players"?
Ric Flair Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 How do you know what a player is on? Have you taken it from a newspaper? What else do we base our discussions on, the same with transfer fees and a lot of other rubbish. That's another point, we get too caught up on how much a player has supposedly cost. For example we're all more than happy with David Nugent as he was a free transfer a few years ago, but we could well have paid him a £2 million signing on fee as it was the Sven era and he had a lot of other clubs after him. Yet because that hasn't been planted in our minds by a newspaper we're happy to go along with the notion he was a bargain.
Mike Oxlong Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 What we don't need is another hungry player with appetite. GTF has made that position his own.

Ric Flair Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 If a player is good nobody gives a shit what they cost. But if he was just above average and the media reported we paid £5 million for him then there would be a never ending stream of criticism about him, however if they cost £125,000 there would be a load of folk saying we need to unearth another player like him. It's wet flannel.
