Your just worried we won't win the fair play league.

Well personally have a few hard b4stards and stay up.

Shame a few people like you judge someone for ever over a mistake.

And for all you know they may have started on him but cos he is handy he finished it off and got done for it.

And most of the next generation of fans would know fvck all about it until a do gooder like yourself points it out to them.

I don't really agree with either you nor the AKCJ. He shouldn't have it held against him forever, but neither should anybody be surprised that it is. Rightly or wrongly, I'd imagine the majority of footballers get s**t all the time, everywhere, and the vast majority manage not to react to it. Unlike some though, he's managed to get his career back on track, and fair play to him. Whatever he chooses to do next in his career i'm sure he'll get goals.

Still can't believe fans will take Ulloa, but not Deeney as well, who has a better scoring record.

25 goals last season, more than Vardy, Nugent

& Ulloa, but I don't want him because he has

"bad attitude".

Get bloody real, pathetic from some fans.

Well said sir. Take a bow!

I wouldn't say I hate it.

I just don't like the idea that people convicted of drink-driving and affray are idols to the next generation of Leicester supporters.

What's wrong with that?

Nothing, so long as you would bring the same attitude to Vardy and Wes as you would Deeney then fair play. Although I would say the days of someone letting their kids have a footballer as someone to look up to should be long gone.

Don't think it's worth the risk. We have Nugent, Vardy, Ulloa, Wood, GTF as backup. You only need 4 especially with playing 1 up top if we do. What message would if send to nugent and vardy if we signed 2 strikers pre season. Far enough sign a bit part striker but not 2 10m strikers who would want to play every week. A RB and left winger should be priority

OK, so as promised, here’s the latest.

Steptoe caved completely this morning. Agreed to the Vardy/James/4m deal in its entirety. Crumbled like dust after being left to stew for the weekend. Nani said he was very quiet and cowed and willing to agree to just about anything we asked of them. After he finished speaking with him, Nani was joking that he reckoned he could have taken them for another 500k without too many problems.

So the deal’s all agreed now. The only problem is Deeney’s terms and wages. I mentioned before, he’s not keen to go there and doesn’t rate their chances of staying up and is worried about being scapegoated.

My mate didn’t know his exact wage demands, but he does confirm that Deeney wants to be far and away the highest Leicester wage earner. He’s also demanded certain guarantees regarding a regular starting spot and wants the formation and tactics built around him. Finally he’s demanding that Knockhart leaves the club before he’ll go there. Says he doesn’t like him, doesn’t get on with him and can’t play alongside him.

Steptoe’s gone away to think about it. Of course I’ll update as I hear more.

(P.S. One other piece of info my mate told me was about Schmeicel, their goalkeeper. I mentioned before that one of the goalkeeper coaches (Alec Chamberlain) went to some of the meetings to translate. Anyway, whilst up there he met up with a lad called Mike, who’s the keeping coach up there at Leicester (apparently they only have one!). Alec says that this Mike told him he’s got the easiest job in the world. He says Schmeicel is so egotistical and big-headed that he’ll accept no coaching whatsoever. When he tried he just said “I already know everything about goalkeeping. Much more than you. Papa taught me.” Then turned his back and walked off. Apparently he now cold-shoulders this Mike chap and won’t even speak to him. He says he’s given up and just does a bit now and then with the reserve and youth goalies.)

Wow.

Just, wow.

Reckon we've mugged Watford off there. Vardy + James + £4m equates to around £25m and Deeney is easily worth £40m.

Cracking bit of business, Nige.

I don't want a man who has kicked another man in the head playing for my club.

. Didn't know we were even interested in signing Alan Shearer

Watford supporters are truly morons!!.. So up themselves and their tin pot club that's going nowhere!!.. They'll be playing championship football (at best) for many many years to come!.. If Deeney had any sense (which is questionable) he'd move on and play for a big club!

lol

If you can't see that that guy is a WUM then there is no hope for you.

Don't fall for that one, they make out they are on the wind up as an excuse.

It's not serious you plonker.

It's actually quite funny - sad but funny.

I'm amazed at how delusional he is.

Obviously nobody would take that seriously.
