Give him time. Preferably six months with the academy. Seriously though I can't believe the negativity towards him . He has just arrived and playing in a team that has yet to master the one up front mode , which like it or not we will be playing a lot of in the Prem. Come on guys cut him some slack until and if he can't cut it  in the Premiership. Two friendlies is not enough to base anything on.

Either the bid is in or it's bollox.

I don't know how these things work, but I'd imagine it's possible we are in contact with Watford about him. So the source could be their end.

Possible babs but would we contact them and say oh we are going to make another bid at some point.

More like if true the bid has been made and they don't want there mole found out but have broken the news.

QPR never made a confirmed bid as far as we know, but Redknapp said their chairman had been talking to Watford. I don't think it's just a case of faxing over a bid these days and seeing if they accept it, I'm sure there will be dialogue with them to see what they want.

Bit of a non-story really.

"And we have been told Leicester are planning to make another bid for the 26-year-old."

Probably by that f**king muppet on their forum! lol

The muppet on the Watford forum was having a bit of a joke as we all like to do in times of boredom

The Watford Observer used to be a good source for news but sadly these days they tend to react to rumours rather than be a breaker ofstories

Deeney played most of the friendly on Saturday albeit not at full tilt and incidently hasn't scored in pre season. He also attended the fans family day yesterday which doesn't suggest any move is imminent but money talks. Pozzo family shrewd players in the transfer market so I would be surprised if any bid less than 10m is accepted.

I am sure there is too payment terms and add ons just to start with.

But I still think either we have bid or it's bollox from the rag praps from Deeney's agent.
