Webbo Posted 20 April 2015 Share Posted 20 April 2015 Must say that's pretty good coverage from MUTV, fair commentators too. Smith did well for us.
TheMightySystem Posted 20 April 2015 Share Posted 20 April 2015 Should have scored with those chances in the last 10-15 mins but good game nonetheless. Smith did well and if knockaert does leave in the summer its really classy to still put 100% in development games when a lot of players wouldn't bother. Ric Flair Posted 21 April 2015 Share Posted 21 April 2015 Good result, I'm surprised now the U18's are out of the FA cup that a few more of them aren't getting in the U21 squads. That said we're in the top 2 so why would you change it right now.
foxfanazer Posted 21 April 2015 Share Posted 21 April 2015 Knockaert and Smith played really well last night. Shame we couldn't get the win to take us top
davieG Posted 27 April 2015 Share Posted 27 April 2015 Leicester City’s Development Squad will play their Premier League International Cup Semi-Final clash with Manchester City on Thursday at Holmes Park (7pm kick-off). Steve Beaglehole’s outfit stormed through the group stages of the competition with wins against Schalke, Benfica and now last-four opponents Man City. A tough quarter-final tie with Everton at Belvoir Drive then followed. The game finished 2-2 after extra time, but two crucial spot-kick saves from goalkeeper Adam Smith meant the Foxes emerged as 4-3 victors on penalties. The Citizens, meanwhile, advanced from Group C as runners-up behind City and beat Celtic on penalties in the quarter-final following a goalless draw after 120 minutes. The winners of the tie, which will take place at Holmes Park, Whetstone – the home of the County FA – will face Portuguese outfit Porto in the final. Steve_Walsh5 Posted 27 April 2015 Share Posted 27 April 2015 How the fvck have Holmes Park managed to pull of hosting that game? It's a nice pitch but it's not that great and the facilities aren't up to much either.

It's a nice pitch but it's not that great and the facilities aren't up to much either. They can't play it at the KP seeing as we play Wednesday and Saturday. Then it's a toss up between there and the training ground. Guess it's easier to get more spectators at Holmes Park than Belvoir Drive?

Guess it's easier to get more spectators at Holmes Park than Belvoir Drive? it has to be played at a stadium (its non negotiable). Belvoir drive isn't a stadium and holmes park is all that was available .they refused a few dates city put forward , the other alternative was a reverse fixture which city were never going to do . lets see what man city think of holmes park they wont be happy !!
