Steve Beaglehole’s outfit stormed through the group stages of the competition with wins against Schalke, Benfica and now last-four opponents Man City. A tough quarter-final tie with Everton at Belvoir Drive then followed. The game finished 2-2 after extra time, but two crucial spot-kick saves from goalkeeper Adam Smith meant the Foxes emerged as 4-3 victors on penalties. The Citizens, meanwhile, advanced from Group C as runners-up behind City and beat Celtic on penalties in the quarter-final following a goalless draw after 120 minutes. The winners of the tie, which will take place at Holmes Park, Whetstone – the home of the County FA – will face Portuguese outfit Porto in the final. Then it's a toss up between there and the training ground. Guess it's easier to get more spectators at Holmes Park than Belvoir Drive?
