Guest Col city fan Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Babylon and Col would make a cute couple Not interested.. he's more moody than the missis. I couldn't live with treading on egg shells all the bleeding time..
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Not forgetting his long-term relationships with 'Arry and JET. I told you before. JET'S off the radar. Pearson clearly don't want him and I've got bored of waiting.
Robin JD Popley Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Hopefully we may hear an actual update on this in the next hour or so, rather than discussing Col's wish list. If CoalvilleFox's friend on the inside is correct, it may well be the Merc that has some information later this evening. Although I didn't hear it, sounds like Stringer didn't have anything to add to the conversation either.
MC Prussian Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 To get this thread back on track: I think yes, we Cam-biasso.* *I know, poor effort. But somebody had to try to detract from Col's one-man show at some point
oxford blue Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 So Messi is 34....best years gone...I'd say no? It doesn't fooking work like that and giving that for a reason is stupid. Col has basically admitted to it and I'm 99% sure you haven't seen him play in the last couple of years either. Writing him off because he's a bit old is ridiculous. Correction - Messi is only 27 I agree with the point about age, but inevitably it becomes much harder for players of EC's age (eg recovery from injury longer, speed), to justify high wages. If the reported money on offer is anyway near correct, a definite no from me: too much of a gamble, but, more importantly, the existing wage structure would be undermined, and likely to contribute to disharmony among other players. For that reason, I can't see NP paying him more than other players, as LCFC's success depends as much anything on team spirit.
mr whippy Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 I'd rather have Guacamole smeared round my GARRY and licked off by a bear than Cattermole!! Col's lost his pickle

I don't think they will but if any player spits their dummy out because a proven player from a top club is earning more than them, I think Nigel would consider them the problem. We're Premier League now. We can't be scared of making these kind of signings. I think it will have a great effect on team spirit. A player like that in your team can give you the belief to fight for points that you would have subconsciously given up on.

Haydo's scenario was a hypothetical one, hence the reference to Messi at age 34. Unless he did a Ronaldinho, would you say "no" to one established and still capable veteran player from abroad like Messi with tons of pedigree joining this club, improving the already existing squad even further and adding a bit more exposure in European media? I agree the notion of us signing an ageing Messi is a bit an extreme case, but you get my drift. Wages can be an issue, but the presence of such a player can also at the same time boost general morale, as well as add more safety in the back. Surely, some of our current squad would burn with excitement to perform on the same pitch as Cambiasso.
maddog Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Roll up, roll up, welcome to the col city show. Col just loves the attention At least you can laff today and not get fookin pissy pants. Keep it up... Caught up on this thread now. !!!! And Col was surprised when people thought he was 17!!!! It's hard not to laugh at some of the stuff posted in here, I'm starting to think you might be an avant garde comedy genius. Col has become the new 'maddog'. Whereas I have matured with age somewhat, he seems to have become ever increasingly juvenile
kingfox Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Stop trying to get rep points, it's very unbecoming. Don't forget the comments you made about our Danny.. Yep, gonna be shit in the Prem he is, rather get Cattermole.
The Doctor Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Imagine after all this we DID sign Lee Cattermole! At least he'd be suspended for the majority of the season so wouldn't play much. Frankly, I'd rather see Birch dust off his boots and play before Cattermole.

Frankly, I'd rather see Birch dust off his boots and play before Cattermole.I don't think you have to worry about it. I doubt old Cattermole would want to be in the same room as Knockaert after he completely embarrassed him in the friendly, two years ago.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Col has become the new 'maddog'. Whereas I have matured with age somewhat, he seems to have become ever increasingly juvenile because I question Cambiasso at the club, then respond to other posts? Go and spaff over a picture of him.. now THAT'S juvenile..
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Yep, gonna be shit in the Prem he is, rather get Cattermole. Your attempts at getting popular don't work KF. And as I said, is a bit iffy really.
Steven Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Your attempts at getting popular don't work KF. And as I said, is a bit iffy really. Are you Cattermole's fluffer?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 If he stops that, will you please stop the pointless Arry meetings and conversations? I think that's a fair deal. Well, if you stop posting, I'll consider it.
ARM1968 Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Think he'd be a good addition to be honest. Bring a lot of experience and craft to the club when we need it. Young squad but an old head could be useful. No fee but high wages. Considering his pedigree I think the other players would understand.
VLC86 Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 I hope that we reserve 200 tickets for a bus load of Inter fans for each game. Leicester-Internazionale alliance 2014-15. Bagsy selling shit badges.
Babylon Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 because I question Cambiasso at the club, then respond to other posts? Go and spaff over a picture of him.. now THAT'S juvenile.. Get this in to your head, today's events have little to do with your opinion on him. Stop making out it is when it isn't. People only starting questioning that when you mentioned cattermole. The rest of it is entirely to do with the odd rants you came out with.
ronnup Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Imagine reading this thread as a supporter of a different club. Embarrassing.
BigMicky Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Imagine reading this thread as a supporter of a different club. Embarrassing. Why do you have to be from another club? The majority of Colin's posts are just that...
ScouseFox Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Got too excited in work breaking all the rules to check this thread have we signed him yet? Have we won the league yet? Logic says one follows the other

Hardly anyone wanted to discuss, instead choosing to frankly, take the piss. Well before Cattermole. I'll continue to discuss alternatives to mainstream mentality and to reply to piss-taking. I'm neither phased by it or influenced by it. Never have been. To be fair to you Babs, you actually do try to discuss, at least at times.
