Esteban Cambiasso

I really don't understand how people can argue that he's past it. 33/34 isn't old for a holding midfielder and he'd give us the level-headed experience that would benefit our midfield. Think about it, Knockaert, Drinkwater, James and Mahrez are all very young, yet are our first choice midfield. Plus, he's the same age (well slightly younger) than Steven Gerrard who was the best holding midfielder in the league last year

James Nursey is the only one with any knowledge at the Mirror.

Unfortunately this is highly, highly unlikely

Perhaps, but it is the first time in about 3 weeks we have had ANYTHING to get excited about.

We had that video in the Watford Boards thread to keep us going a few hours ago...whatever the hell that was. Now this. Let's bask in the madness!

This excites me SO MUCH! Really hope it happens, Holding midfielders are in their prime in their late twenties so age is not a problem! (Also is one of my favourite players of recent years)

He's 34??

He's 34??

Yeah i know. What I meant was that they are in their prime later than other players so he isn't far past his best years and can still do a job very effectively

lol

IMAGINE if it was QPR linked to Esteban bloody Cambiasso

Or West Ham.

Or whoever was the piss-take of the month..

There'd be another thread on it clarifying how we seek stability where others 'spend their way out of trouble'.. Or words to that effect.

Again, you couldn't make it up.

Although I know what Jonah Hill is doing in this meme and I get your use of it mate, I really want to know what that woman is doing with her head.

She looks like she has a very unfortunate shake... However, I digress.

THIS DEAL COULD BE ON!!! :D

Type him in google and all the stories are about him being close to signing for Spurs over a month ago. How much real info has Rob Tanner ever had?

Could pay him £30k per week, with a £2m signing on fee payable in two annual instalments.

They could easily get around the wage issue as he is a free agent.

This has legs this one. Weird that Hammond exit has been mentioned at the same time.

Don't really see an issue wage wise with this one. Cambiasso is a CL winner who has played at the very top level for the majority of his career as opposed to a complete no mark like Frazier Campbell. I doubt any of our players would kick up that much of a fuss if he was paid more than them.
