Fox92 Posted 25 March 2016 Posted 25 March 2016 Anybody watching the Swindon game? Wigan have literally just scored three in five minutes straight after half time and it's 0-4 with only 51 minutes gone.
theessexfox Posted 25 March 2016 Posted 25 March 2016 Haven't followed this league at all but Wigan look to have done well in the face of 2 relegations and some managerial turmoil, very impressive tonight.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 25 March 2016 Posted 25 March 2016 Steve Cotterill on pundit duty remember when Nige went and he was linked with us I would have died
Oswinner Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 I know what you're getting at there but without an under-21 side surely our fringe players (such as Liam Moore) won't be doing anything. They won't be playing or getting fit. Literally turning up for training and that's it. Yeah I guess. So, just a limit on how many players you can loan out then. Let's say 5. Then the under 21 sides will be full of better quality. As it stands right now the under 21 sides are basically the under 21 reserves as the first team of under 21 players are usually all out on loan.
Wymsey Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Burton on TV atm. Choudhury playing. Was quite an entertaining game.
Fox92 Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 Wow, Coventry just lost to Colchester (at home!?) and way off the play offs now after starting the season so well.
Corky Posted 29 March 2016 Author Posted 29 March 2016 Mowbray fell apart at Middlesbrough too. They really have no excuses for being that low and that far off, they can attract high profile players like Cole, fairly good like Fortune and youngsters like Murphy and Armstrong. No points penalty or ground issue this time either.
block15ccfc Posted 29 March 2016 Posted 29 March 2016 We have won just 4 games since going top of the league in November. Despite a squad with many high profile names, we have just fallen apart. Mowbray has to go. The Coventry City merry-go-round continues .
possiblygeorge Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 Watched the League One match between Southend Vs Sheffield, one lad stood out for me in Southend's win and that was Jake Payne. Kid's got talent. Wouldn't be surprised if we see him in the Premiership at some point.
davieG Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 Football: English stadiums to get free wi-fi for some apps 8 hours ago From the sectionTechnology Image copyrightGetty ImagesImage captionOnly specific, official apps will be accessible via free wi-fi England's Football League has announced that free wi-fi, for a particular set of official apps, will be made available at Championship, League One and League Two stadiums. Fans will be able to access club-branded apps to get news, social media content, highlights and betting. However access to the wider internet would not be possible. The Football League said "the majority" of clubs had signed up to participate in the deal. A full list of confirmed participating clubs will be announced after 30 June. British wi-fi provider Intechnology will implement the service. In an online article, the Football League said the service would "deliver the complete digital match day experience to supporters". The free wi-fi would come as a boon to fans who had been frustrated with overloaded mobile networks at half-time, according to Intechnology chief executive Peter Wilkinson. Having to use 3G or 4G services could also be expensive, he added. However, wi-fi at sports events does not always prove popular with fans. In 2014, supporters at PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands protested against the introduction of wi-fi at their club's stadium, saying spectators should pay attention to what is happening on the pitch, not their smartphones.
bovril Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 Smartphones should be confiscated on entering the stadium imho.
Soar Fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Didn't realise that Doncaster Rovers are struggling so much. Only 2 years ago we played each other on the last day of the season. Now it looks like we are going to win the premier league and they look like getting relegated to league 2. How different things could have been for them if Mahrez hadn't dived.
MC Prussian Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Northampton close to definite promotion to League One, as neither Bristol Rovers nor Plymouth can currently reach the Town's 90 points with five more games to go.
Fox92 Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Congrats to Northampton. Disappointing for Crewe, I've always kind of liked to see them do well.
MC Prussian Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I do hope promotion hopefuls Burton won't fudge it up in League One comes the end of the season. Lost 1-0 away at Scunthorpe yesterday whilst Bradford won their home match against Swindon with the same scoreline, narrowing down the gap between second and third to six points only with five games to go. Should Walsall win their two games in hand, the margin could come down to as little as two points.

Leicesterpool Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Well with no game on Saturday for me with neither Boro or Leicester playing tempted to go watch Burton play Barnsley. Hope Burton can go on a do it, but unfortunately gone on a blip recently.
MC Prussian Posted 15 April 2016 Posted 15 April 2016 AFC Wimbledon are thinking about relocating to the Plough Lane area - the land of former glory: http://bringthedonshome.org The new stadium could hold up to 20'000 people: http://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/club/new-stadium/index.aspx http://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/article/go-ahead-for-new-stadium-2845699.aspx A decision by the mayor of London is expected at the start of next month.
