Unabomber Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 In all seriousness pretty standard result, wins against poverty teams such as Stoke are standard imo.
Chug Laguna Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Let's act like we've been here boys these are the sides that we should beat.
Corky Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 THANK YOU SO MUCH, MY HERO Una, get the Are you Not Entertained gif out?
Knickerbocker Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Have to be up at 6am (4 hours away), will not be able to sleep now! Cambiasso should start next week
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Can I just point out.... TOP HALF OF THE TABLE!!! :vardy: :vardy:
Haydos Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 We won't get a jammier 3 points than that all season. Couldn't have complained if we'd lost by 2 goals. Hamer MoTM for me, apart from his early spill he was excellent. Ulloa you fvcking beauty! I won't even try and claim we were the better side but Jammy? We had just as many good chances as them. All they really had was possession and corners. We defended away from home better than they attacked. I wouldn't really call it jammy, it was well organised and well fought.
bigbiff Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Get in not the best performance but fighting til the end, so proud
bovril Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 I didn't want to make too many predictions at this stage of the season but they really have made the step up to Premiership football superbly. We have resilience, belief, work ethic and, most importantly, lots of quality in the squad. Top marks to the back 5 today, I am so impressed with Moore and Morgan.
Haydos Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Cracking pic, love his celebrations already.
Guest Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Cambiasso's effectiveness acknowledged by the Radio 5 Live report from the ground. Well done you Foxes!
Swarles Barkley Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Surely an Argentina call up awaits Ulloa. Can't really think of much competition for him right now...
Christoph Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Much better second half. Wasn't that impressed with king, thought we looked better secondhhalf after the changes. Very happy.
RowlattsFox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 What a result, only really followed soccer Saturday and the twitter feed so not sure on performance. Credit to Pearson for making proactive substitutions, what was the formation second half? 433 or Drinkwater in a wide position? Delighted Hamer had a good game, and we defend like lions. Yes we had a bit of luck but if you don't score you don't win. Also, Ulloa would have scored bucket loads for us last season, brilliant.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 We were excellent second half, defended like heroes and midfield had pace and creativity on the break.
Vacamion Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 3 points we probably didn't expect. At times we were bad. Woeful even. At other times, we were brilliant. Cambiasso was on the pitch for the latter occasions.
orangecity23 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Closer to the Champions League places than the relegation zone.
bovril Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Really takes the pressure of us going into the United game. Huge result, let's not pretend anything less than a win would've been ideal.
Master Fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Have to at people who didn't think Cambiasso wasn't going to blast us to the top.
Tielemans63 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Is there a better result than a smash and grab? Stoke may have dominated in terms of attempts but winning away in the prem is down to quality counter attacking and Nige has set us up brilliantly in each game so far. This is going to be a good season people
