Need a player to protect the back line, break play up & lay the ball off with a simple pass that retains possession that /should/ start our attacks off... I thought that would be Cambiasso but he's charging all over the pitch the same as everyone else rather than fulfilling this essential CDM role

So Matic would be a good shout, could do with the creativity of Fabregas too though,but with out a Matic style player it's hard to shine
