NewquayFox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Rickie Lambert of LFC rumoured to be mulling over a loan move to LCFC with the chance of it being a permanent move if they stay up, Leicester not Liverpool....
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Can't see that happening with their injury issues up top unless they've already lined up a replacement or two. He still figures in their first team squad.
Soar Fox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Saw that myself on Twitter earlier. Can't see it myself unless Liverpool sign a couple of strikers. Though to be honest I wasn't that impressed with him when Liverpool played down here. He could challenge DJ Campbell for the most times caught offside in a game.
Tuna Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 ha ha ha ha ha bollocks he must be on £80 k a week !
Benguin Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Was going to write a comment saying that this doesn't really excite me but heck yes yes yes yes please
sylofox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Not a bat move loan to perm is the business we should be doing in jan. As long as we get the right players here that will fight to make it perm.
sylofox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Bet we'd play him on the wing Thought we was getting him to be centre back with Ulloa so we can win some balls in the air.
Matt Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Whilst we need better strikers, the issue is the support and service our current strikers are recieving, lets solve that problem before we start looking elsewhere.
Babylon Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Whilst we need better strikers, the issue is the support and service our current strikers are recieving, lets solve that problem before we start looking elsewhere. So long as the problems are fixed what does it matter about the order? Are we meant to not bother looking for, or negotiating with, any players in other positions until another position is sorted?
MPH Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Not a bad shout really. Genuine prem striker with prem experience. Does it excite me for the long term? Definitely not. But chuffin Nora, we are 5 points away from safety. And if this is what's on offer, ill take it.
Jimmy Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 he'd sort free kicks out as well, would be an awesome signing it just reeks of bullshit
Deucalion Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Hindsight being 20/20 and all that, we should've got him while we were in League One !!
Buzzell Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 What's the source? What you after? Brown or Red?
Webbo Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Hindsight being 20/20 and all that, we should've got him while we were in League One !! Can't believe we were never even linked with him. We'd have won 2 straight promotions with him.
teblin Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Can't believe we were never even linked with him. We'd have won 2 straight promotions with him. Not sure how true it is but I think we signed Gally instead of him.
Deucalion Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Not sure how true it is but I think we signed Gally instead of him. Weeeellllll...(in Sven style), I always liked Gally and thought he had a great touch, could do things no-one else in the team could and would do well in the PL. I also thought most of our present team would do well in the PL though, so what do I know !!
DeclanMC Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Not sure how true it is but I think we signed Gally instead of him. Definitely right timeframe, we had just been promoted and he chose to go to at that time League 1 Southampton. It's been his loss ever since
lee7 Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Not a chance! I'd highly doubt he will want a move from Liverpool to us (sitting bottom of the table 6 points adrift). I'd like him to come here but I highly doubt he will.
