ScouseFox Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 You jest but we're showing serious ambition if these signings come off. There's little reason why, if we stay up and establish ourselves, we couldn't be where Southampton are now in a couple of years. Particularly with our finances. I wasn't joking We'll win a league next year just dunno which one yet
sphericalfox Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 I've asked my dudes in Japan if this is just agent talk.
Buzzell Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Another striker?! **** me a team of strikers. Buy them all, play them all, we will surely score goals!
sphericalfox Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 My thoughts are unsure. Anything above £10m for a 28yr old who hasn't played in England, nevermind the Prem does concern me a little, though if he can offer something both on a off the field then it may well be a coup. Broadening our Asian appeal, with an international, may provide a different type of return. My dude in Japan says: He is an excellent player for Japanese standard. Really hard worker, usually delivers too! But don't expect him to singlehandedly save the team... he is very instinctive. Can score amazing goals out of nothing (see WC vs Colombia), but paradoxically, when he has too much time to think, he usually fails. His super-move is the diving header, anyway. He is fearless.
KFS Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 They have a battle of the Shinjis when Dortmund play Mainz haha
MC Prussian Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 I can hear finners rubbing one out He hasn't posted in here yet, so that could be one heck of a long rub. Someone call the Guinness Book of Records as a precaution.

Japanese Dave Nugent?
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Japanese Muzzy Izzet. Nah, Muzzy COULD single handedly save the team
Saxondale Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 My dude in Japan says: His super-move is the diving header, anyway. He is fearless. This "super-move" all sounds a bit Mortal Kombat.
sphericalfox Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 This "super-move" all sounds a bit Mortal Kombat. given that english isn't his first language, I'll forgive him. However, he does know his stuff, he works on Japanese telly commentating on games and also on football panel shows.
5waller5 Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 We going for the lesser known 4-1-5 formation?? I flippin hope so!!!!
Buce Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 I don't know him, It's to be hoped that he doesn't know you or we'll have no chance of him coming.
65RosesFox Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 but paradoxically, when he has too much time to think, he usually fails. Japanese Jeff Schlupp
Kitchandro Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 but paradoxically, when he has too much time to think, he usually fails. Japanese Matty Fryatt.
Saxondale Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 "but paradoxically, when he has too much time to think, he usually fails." Me, when asked to write something in somebody's leaving card at work.
sylofox Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 This guy would/should be decent, but I get the feeling he's 'first reserve' should Kramaric/Defoe fall through! Or this windows deeney. After one put in a bid for another to force the first one. ?
MrSpaM Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 I wish all players had 'Super Moves', would make the game loads more interesting
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 It's to be hoped that he doesn't know you or we'll have no chance of him coming.
