ScouseFox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 yeah I heard someone in the boozer after sayin they'd heard it kicked off a few times in the villa end between villa and villa. always gonna happen if there's a lot of very angry, passionate, probably drunk fellas in close proximity, even if they're all meant to be on the same side. idiots.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Wasyl crumpling Westwood In addition, Cleverley screaming for attention and wanting to be important. Cleverley would've played with James and probably knows him very, very well. I actually think he was trying to save more trouble kicking off.

ScouseFox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Do you travel down every game? I've got a season ticket so I try my best. miss a few cos of work and occasionally swap a home game week off work for an away one (ie didn't come down for Spurs on Boxing Day so I could do liverpool on NYD). Just missed sunderland and Spurs so far this season, but won't be doing next week cos some loon who makes the fixtures gave us two homes in a row!
ScouseFox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Fair play to you Been doing it ever since I was a kid so it doesn't seem that out of the ordinary to me like it does every time I explain it to someone up here . At least they understand it more now I travel down for leicester vs united or something instead of leicester vs northampton or yeovil
Ian S Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Do I? So giving the ball away & dithering on the ball warrants praise? You clearly watch a different game to a lot of us based on comments made in various threads.Must say I agree with the poster who commented that you know nothing about football. Keep focussing on the negatives if it makes you happy. And keeping posting your nonsense as on occasions it is quite amusing.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 To be honest, we thrashed them yesterday. God knows how it ended up only one-nil. We looked SO much better and created chances. Gotta feel for Nugent actually. It shows just what fine margins football can be. If that snapshot ended up hitting the underside of the bar and went IN, we'd all be raving about it. We look a better side when Nugent plays. Leicester's success under Pearson is founded upon energy. Getting the ball up the field quickly and breaking with pace. Nugent aids this by continually running and making space. He's a very unselfish player. James will be a big loss..again, he's got energy and gets around the field effortlessly. That's crucial at this level. Finally, hats off to Albrighton. His assists could prove crucial to us and will turn into goals when big Kramaric finally plays. Excellent effort. Hear hear. And he constantly gets slated for it. A real team player that makes the team play better - football being a team game....

ScouseFox Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Can I have your Stoke ticket please? Worth a try! haha, unfortunately my dad's got dibs on it (for free!) if i miss any other games and nobody's around to take the spare i'll let everyone know don't worry
kingcarr21 Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Wow Villa fans fighting amongst each other in the away end during the game. Away fans coming to the city centre clearly not interested in the football and just wanted to cause trouble. Pathetic club, pathetic team and pathetic fans. If they dont change something i think they will free fall to the Championship and stay there for many years to come
Unabomber Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Would have given it to Was, but still have mad love for Tony so pleased for him.

I usually praise the team when we win, most or all of which can be positives at times, instead of slagging me off go and have a look what I said after the recent Liverpool and Newcastle games. However on this occasion, I didn't think our performance was that great, we weren't great in possession especially first half and we wasted too many chances. To praise Hammond and James when they struggled to keep hold of the ball at times, is baffling in my opinion. I've liked Hammond this season, James on his day is my favourite player, but against Villa I didn't think they performed particularly well.
ScouseFox Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 i gave it tony in the rating thread but he got an 8, the same as was and wes so could've gone either way. great quote tho.
Guest ttfn Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Schlupp won MOTM against Liverpool (the game where he was stumbling around like an extra in Pineapple Express) so nothing surprises me any more. I thought Knocky had a good game.
kingfox Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Oh surprise surprise when Knockaert plays, his Twitter army comes out in force takes over that hashtag and vote him MOTM. Thought he also played well tbh, but Wasilewski and Morgan were colossal their terrific defending saved us at times. Fingers crossed the Foxestalk MOTM results are different.

lgfualol Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Not many negatives about him getting MOTM, it will be a big confidence boost. He played better than I thought he would.

If they dont change something i think they will free fall to the Championship and stay there for many years to come They need to get relegated for the good of their club in a way. They have loads of empty seats for their home games so I think people have had enough of decades of mid table mediocrity, O'Neills reign aside, and they think they are entitled to more. That may well be the case but their support for their team was counter productive and shit. A lot of their fans have failed to realise how tough the league is this year and just like Newcastle before them are being far too negative. I'd love to see them get a reality check, get relegated, get humbled and get real.

I think Knockaert edges it, as he came back from a rather long spell on the sidelines. It's a variation of the Cinderella story. I also hope it gives him the boost of confidence, filling in for Mahrez.Who knows? Maybe our situation with regards to the absentees all aids the squad improving morale even further. I cannot wait for Stoke, am looking forward to seeing Kramaric play (for a few minutes at least) and wish for an emphatic win to soothe our souls even more.

Umm like I said I thought Knockaert played well, and I'm usually one of his biggest critics. Wes and Wasyl dominated their main threat in Benteke though, got in some key blocks and headed almost everything especially last 10 minutes. Knockaert did better defensively than he did going forward, he isn't blessed with pace like Schlupp and Mahrez and at times that can be his downfall.

Tbf to kingfox he was one of the few who saw value in schlupp whilst everyone else was gunning for him. I think James and hammond did a good job at maintaining shape and breaking up play, playing some simple passes and keeping the ball but there were times they dithered and carelessly gave it away. I put this down partly to the fact we had new wingers in this game and they were used to the movements of knocky and Albrighton compared to schlupp and mahrez
