Don't know if it has been discussed elsewhere but interesting to see that Jeff Schlupp was there but not in the squad

He's out injured until the end of the month.

I don't think its 'shocking' (you do like your extremes lol). Knockaert is an enthusiastic and ambitious young man. And he's clearly been made to wait..

It's a great indicator of both manager and player that when he DOES get his chance, he's as energetic as ever. Very good sign that the squad understand its a squad game.

4:09 - Knockaert coming in through the tunnel and a little fist pump and yes to himself....shows just what it meant to play and win for the Foxes!

Anyone know if the Croatian lads watched the game on a stream and joined in with what I can only imagine was top class banter in the match thread?

Because he's injured.

absolutely love knocky on that tunnel cam, "yesss come on lads yesss" just to himself.

isn't it expected of an injured player to go to home games and watch? cambiasso was there, too.

Just seen the MOTD segment - Nugent  lol . Great effort for the volley but otherwise looked doggo. Let's hope Krammy would have bagged both of those sitters.

Love this photo. Something for everybody.

King with a world class gurn, involved with the sort of competence and enthusiasm in this situation you'd expect from a nice middle class boy who has found himself in the middle of a bar brawl on a Saturday nights after his mate has said the wrong thing to the local oik.

Wasyl obviously going straight for the throat. Even though you can't see his face you can tell it's frightening from the jaw tension.

James brooding in the middle for the ladies/Scouse.

Crying hahaha you couldn't have got this more accurate! Well done

More clinical? to miss from a yard out twice is not acceptable. Nugent was embarrassing in front of goal. World beater from 25 yds but shocking in the box ,he and Vardy are never going to score enough to keep us up. Can't believe some people want Ulloa dropped for Kramaric instead of Nugent ,the most un -clinical striker in world football, could of cost us 3 points yesterday.

your talking utter cobblers mate, yes maybe he should have taken one of those chances, but you are overlooking

his contribution in other ares of the game, he made some sublime passes and  showed good energy and movement,

ulloa looked like he was running through treacle and looked unfit, it is no coincidence we pick up more points when nugent

is playing, yes alloa has scored seven goals but put his contribution to the team in a wider perspective,

personally i do not think big static type of strikers work in modern football, because they decrease a teams total energy,

i  am expecting great things from krameric, because looking at the footage, you can see good movement agility and coolness,

looking at our remaining fixtures, i think we have left ourselves too much ground to make up, i hope we do turn it around,

as currently we are playing more like a mid table side , than bottom of the pile.

Just to add that I was impressed with some of the 'clever' fouls we made in their half when our attack broke down. Stopped them breaking quickly on at least three occasions and maybe more.

I was impressed with that as well.

We also took our time taking throw ins and goal kicks....the ball boys took the mickey giving the ball back......and we didn't pass the ball straight back to then when they wanted it.

Looks like we are learning at last.

pretty poor display and we lacked a lot of quality in the final third. should have won by 3 or 4. but a win is a win and i'm ****in relieved we got it. villa probably the worst team ive seen all season, surely they're gonna be in trouble come the end of the season, they had absolutely no idea going forward

Really? Poor Display !

Hammond and James were complete bystanders at times, hence Villa having about 60% of the possession. Villa had more time on the ball and got more space, luckily they didn't take advantage of it because they were that shit.

Hammond was slow on the ball, and negative in possession sometimes very wasteful.

You post some absolute drivel.

I know Nugent missed chances, but I was really impressed with his link up work. He looked creative and when we play thAt formation he is our best player in that 10 position. Worked his socks off, really pleased for him.

You say maybe he should of scored .he does work hard and yesterday he looked better than ulloa although he took a lot of the centre back treatment to allow nugent to play. Think it's when Hammond plays that we seem to do well.nugent can,t score and that's not good enough in the prem.ulloa can and that's why he must play. Plus I think ulloa makes a massive difference defending corners. Someone said he had cleared over 20 from corners although I can,t find the evidence, thats like another goal or 2 with our inability at times to defend crosses

They were absolutely diabolical at everything from start to finish. How they are 13th is a mystery because they're comfortably the worst side in the division we've played, and we played what was effectively burnley reserves. A sham of a team are villa.

They always come across as a very unhappy club and set of players. All the Roy Keane stuff ended very bizarrely, Lambert always seems a completely miserable sod and, for a team containing some younger guys, they rarely seem to have a spring in their step. Villa are a big club but seem to have gone rapidly downhill since Martin left. It's time they got relegated IMO.

yeh lambert looks like he doesn't want to be there at all and most the players seemed to follow his lead. pathetic all round day for them. there's no way they can stay up if they perform like that every week, surely.

There was a Villa fan on another forum saying that he wishes Lambert had Pearson's passion and urgency on the touchline, six weeks after our fans were criticising him for being calm and ineffective up in the stand lol

Their players were straight off at the end, even in our worst performances I'm sure our players have stayed to clap the fans? And last 10 minutes bar the scrap their players didn't look bothered at all. Caller on 5Live reckoned there were multiple fights between pro and anti-Lambert supporters too, crying kids around and all.

That'd explain the police going up in their end at least twice during the match
