Must have - when I have been the amount of Moncler (fake or otherwise), shiny teeth and BMWs in the car park made me feel like I was sitting in Hertfordshire.

Ooops.

Jokes aside I'm not sure a BMW is a flex (maybe in the 90s)  common as muck.

Land Rover Defenders on the other hand go well with shiny teeth, Moncler and maxed out credit cards....

Anyway, back to topic - for the portions and value it was pretty good - freebie large red too,

Can anyone recommend a nice Turkish restaurant in Leicestershire? Is there any really good ones about?

Never had a bad meal at Anatolia on Allendale Road

Heard a few talk about a good one in Hinckley.

Sumac? Been a few times, not bad but no real atmosphere. Just a solid place. It used to be a car dealership previously I think.

Went Kayal on Saturday - very, very good. Didn't expect a full seabass though

I don't like Indian food. I prefer British food like pizza or Chinese

Went to Khaleej Mandi House for my wife's birthday, and the food is stunning quality, the meat/rice/salad and other dishes, well worth it imo.

I'm guessing there's no alcohol? Been meaning to try there or Pamson Grill but i always sack it off because i'm a slave to the booze

No alcohol but they do have a nice range of  non alcoholic mocktails and barbican strawberry plus a nice mint and lemon drink which was really nice! The food is next level the lamb especially so tender and soft, honestly the best lamb I have eaten.

Not a huge fan of the one in Leicester really. Decent, but better options out there.

Ive heard the one in Loughborough aint great. I am a fan of the town one. It’s good for kids and the LCFC discount is large.

The pizza dough is very good indeed…

Tomato salad was huge and tasty!

Efes Mangal on Brauny Gate is great…. Try the lamb pide as well as kofte shish options

Did the Balmoral on Belgrave Road last night. It's been refurbed and is much smarter than your usual desi pub inside, with prices still decent. Massive screens in there showing the footy. Was busy and the food and service was solid too. Another good addition, but food not quite as good as some of the others IMO.

Paddy's and Little Club are my top 2 comfortably. My third would probs be Indian Queen, but that would not be to everyone's taste so maybe Broadway.
