maxwelld_ Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I know we have just spent on Kramaric which im hoping is the best signing of this year for us x x x But little dissapointed that any new transfers rumors have died a death . We need a strong creative ball winning midfielder and a leftback as a bare min now in my opinion. If not I doubt that Kramaric can keep us up on his own
Stadt Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 What were you expecting? 3 or 4 players? Pearson has made it clear on numerous occasions that barely anybody worthwhile wants to sign for us
sylofox Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 Yeah close the window now just like the season finished on saturday. The whole season done and dusted by 20th Jan. When's pre season training start and the summer window open?

Spanner73 Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I've learnt not to get my hopes up when it comes to pearson and his tight fisted awkward transfer ways ie we won't spend over on wages and if it gets expensive were out ! Their talking still about the possibly of 3 but with under 2 weeks left can you seriously see it ? It seems to take us so long to conclude a deal so personally I don't hold out too much hope , they've lost naughton who went for 5 m , reports suggest we offered 3 m so he's gone , the japanese striker link has stalled over the fee and Maloney said no , so all in all and with Pearson's previous dealings I don't hold out too much hope no !
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 For some reason even though the window is open for a whole month most deals are completed in the last few hours before it closes.
Benguin Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 For all you know, talks are going on right now. Pearson is very secretive. I'm not optimistic though. If we get a new left back of proven quality I will be chuffed

W88DY Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson is ready to spend more money in January to give his side the best chance of avoiding Premier League relegation. The Foxes have signed Mark Schwarzer and broken their transfer record to sign £9m man Andrej Kramaric this month, but Pearson has admitted that it may take more money than that in order to lift Leicester off the bottom of the table and out of the drop zone.
st albans fox Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 There is only one more PL game before the window closes (at OT where we won't be expecting to get anything) so I imagine the club see no reason to rush anything they may have bubbling along. Of course, they may have nothing bubbling under. Only have to wait till the 2nd to find out.

Guest Cujek Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 Trying to get players who can make a difference to us, at a reasonable cost must be very difficult
Spanner73 Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 Trying to get players who can make a difference to us, at a reasonable cost must be very difficult Hence that's why we all told him to buy in the summer !!!!!!
Suffolk exile Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I think they'll be more - remember most business takes place at the end of the month.
Leicesterpool Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I can see two more players coming in but at last minute like back in the summer.
Monsell1976 Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I just hope we will still add better players than we already have by the end of the window, not players that are no better, or players we will never play, or more recruits for the under 21's, like the last end of the window. If we fail to buy anybody decent, I would suspect the club have no real faith in remaining in the premier league, and maybe all the blame doesn't lay at robinson door, after the last poor window. Yes we have a new striker, we will have to see how long it takes him to settle, and wether he will be starved of service due to the lack of quality behind him. It's obvious to everybody we are probaly 3 more decent quality signings away, but the manager and club don't seem in a rush to get them in, yes deals take time, but a team with our results haven't got time, the sooner the better if we are bothering.
MHC Posted 21 January 2015 Posted 21 January 2015 We won't sign anybody in the very near future but I bet it's gonna be a deadline day that will be our most interesting yet. I think we will bring in two or three late in the window.
Benguin Posted 21 January 2015 Posted 21 January 2015 We've just had a 16 million bid accepted from the BBC for Savage. Thoughts?
