AKCJ Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Watching the Bolton vs Liverpool game and, for some reason, Neil Lennon has decided to play Matt Mills up front in the absence of Emile Heskey. Just wondering, should we be out of available strikers (Ulloa, Kramaric, Nugent, Vardy and Wood), who would we play in similar circumstances? Personally think i'd play Andy King, with him being sound on the ball and a very good finisher. Thoughts?
Unabomber Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Paul Konchesky prob as left footers are more cultured and he could curl some in the top corner. He is also capable of volleys like we saw this season and long range worldies as we saw the other season, oh and penalties. He is also capable of a nice assist.
ScouseFox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 yeah it'd have to be schlupp i guess. although de laet would be my outside shout, got pace to burn and can run with a ball. would be funny seeing some nutter like was up there tho. edit - also i guess it depends how we would wanna play. throw moore or was up there if we were intent on just booting it, if we still wanted to try playin footy see earlier options.
Voll Blau Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Was or Wes. If he's not a big lad what's the point?

eye666 Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Wes always seems to end up up top when we're chasing the game and decide to lump it so him i guess
FoxyPalace.com Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Without a decent midfield the ball wont get to the strikers unless we intend to hoof ball it!
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Would take a brave manager. We don't need an emergency striker as we have decent strikers. How would Lennon use them? Sub and winger? I'm enjoying the game.
Poiseuille Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Takes me back to the days when we didn't have a squad large enough so had to play Muzzy Izzet or Matt Elliot upfront. I am sure at one time the were our strike force for a game! Because he does it at the end of games we are loosing, I think if it was ever required, it would be Wes Morgan.
