adam Posted 15 March 2015 Share Posted 15 March 2015 He seemed to be playing too deep yesterday. Bizare tactics again. He needs someone who can cross the ball to him like we did at the start of the season.

Shame we didn't sign a top quality crosser of the ball like him to feed Ulloa isn't it?!....
Mickyblueeyes Posted 15 March 2015 Share Posted 15 March 2015 Ulloa playing in front of Kramaric, Mahrez, cambo albrighton/knockaert/schlupp would get a decent amount of service. Kramaric is not what you would call and out and out centre forward. He is a roaming goal scorer. Playing him in the hole would open up a more creative drive. Raj Posted 15 March 2015 Share Posted 15 March 2015 There was the one cross that he didn't exactly bust a gut to get too. Maybe he didn't have the physicality to get there but that doesn't excuse lack of effort. His cross that went over the bar from a good position was poor. As was his shot after he'd turned a couple of defenders inside out. He can't be excused by poor service forever. He was bought because we were creating plenty of chances but not putting them away. Now suddenly we're not creating any chances. Maybe that speaks for him not getting himself into the right positions. How many mins has he played last few games???He's the top scorer he should play full stop.

Don't get why we're playing him up top alone. Even though Nuge is similar I'd play him alongside. Think we've looked best with those two together. fleckneymike Posted 4 April 2015 Share Posted 4 April 2015 What has happened to the funny looking Argentinian? Kramaric in, Ulloa to the bench. More fouls than touches.

Guest ttfn Posted 4 April 2015 Share Posted 4 April 2015 He can't control for shit. Or hold off defenders. But he does gobble up chances hungrily.
TOMBlcfc Posted 4 April 2015 Share Posted 4 April 2015 He was alright today though. Not spectacular but generally looked to lay off good passes but unfortunately came up against Collins who had a cracker of a game, completely dominant in the air. Ulloa should still start next game for me

Finnegan Posted 4 April 2015 Share Posted 4 April 2015 Our top scorer and always the player that looks the most like finishing. Had a fine game today, not amazing but alright, won a penalty with good play. Not sure why he's become a target for abuse from some of our fans. He's our top scorer and not because he takes our penalties but because he can finish with his feet and finish with his head. It's not his fault his opportunities dried up. He'll never skin five players or blaze one in from fifty yards or trap a forty metre pass from over his head with one great touch. But the ball is loose in the area or swung in from the wing and I'd back him to score over anyone else in the squad. Anyone who's forgotten that needs to re watch his finish against Stoke. Finnegan Posted 4 April 2015 Share Posted 4 April 2015 He was our worst player today. He clearly wasn't. Schlupp waa poor for their goal, Nugent was below par throughout, Mahrez had little end product but even the three of them were pretty good in a fairly good team display. I'll agree all bar Nugent, pen wasn't great, but he created numerous good openings by getting himself into the right place and playing the right ball. Yet again we looked much better with him in the side playing that adapted false 10 role.
KFS Posted 4 April 2015 Share Posted 4 April 2015 He doesn't win anything in the air but his presence does bring something to the side. Some of his flicks are sublime when they come off. Takes out 2/3 players who are pressing him.
