Weller in Tights Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Firstly I need to admit I watched it on the Internet tonight (been a few away this season but couldn't make this one). Just want to say what a class player Cambiasso clearly is. He has played at the highest level. He is now in a dog fight with a team at the bottom of the league, but he continues to show fight, 100% effort, takes a lead role in organising the team and shows pure class. I think no matter how this season ends, I am really pleased to have seen a player of such class in a City shirt. I never would want to say we are down until we are mathematically down, but it is so hard to see performances like that and not think that the football gods aren't against us.
Fox92 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Oh yeah, I agree. His brain is miles ahead of the rest of the squad. Everybody can see that.
ScouseFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 some of the triangles/through balls/bits of skill and flashes of brilliance between cambiasso, riyad and kramaric was nuts. how any of them have ended up 5 points adrift is mental.
ADK Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 He wasn't just class but he put a real shift in and showed a lot of determination. Won my respect, he should be made captain.
bovril Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 He is brilliant, it's been a pleasure to watch him the royal blue.
Webbo Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 The last 2 games he's been brilliant. I hope he's not knackered for Sunday.
The Doctor Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Excellent - him and Mahrez are on a different level.
Grewks Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Huth, Cambiasso, mahrez and kram all showed their class tonight. From now til the end of the season we need was, huth and cambi to lead from the back....and the flair of kram and mahrez up top. Believe.
johnny the fox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 well at least we have seen a great player in our kit... first since gary coatsworth..
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Yes got to admit, tonight he was head and shoulders above. Great performance tonight.
Magictv Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Yes got to admit, tonight he was head and shoulders above. Great performance tonight. Fair play col...
benpicko Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Been critical of him for most of the season but today he was really one of the best players on the pitch
C-man Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Sensational tonight. Gutted we've only got 13 games of Cambiasso, Mahrez and Kramaric left to watch.
katieakita Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Some on here knock him he could walk into any premier squad in the country but puts a shift in every game, looks like him,Mahrez and Krameric are starting to gel.
foxfanazer Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Probably the best passer of the ball I've seen in a city shirt. He just sees everything so quick, great range too
Livid Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 He's just used to playing alongside a better quality of player. Some of the balls he plays are just beyond the players we have. If he is fit, he should start.
Unabomber Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Pleasure to watch, his pass to Paul Konchesky in the first half was one of the best I have seen. Amazing player, him Kram and Ri were all really great.
Corky Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 It's been great to watch a class act even in a rough season. He's shown no prima donna antics either.
5waller5 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Class and fighting for the bottom of the table team .... Seems to just love football and playing it. Great attitude and top player.
katieakita Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Pleasure to watch, his pass to Paul Konchesky in the first half was one of the best I have seen. Amazing player, him Kram and Ri were all really great. Unabomber the only problem was who he passed to.
Benjani Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Some on here knock him he could walk into any premier squad in the country but puts a shift in every game, looks like him,Mahrez and Krameric are starting to gel. Yeah like he would get in Chelseas squad
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 I think he gives you 7/8 most weeks myself and if every other player in our team did that we'd be nowhere near where we are now. Mahrez will probably pick up most of the end of season awards but for me he'd be second and by some distance.
ScouseFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 yeah that's a valid point, not only does he have quality, he does seem to really want to win for us and the fans etc, despite probably never having heard of leicester city until 6 months ago. i love him.
ousefox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Best performance in a City shirt from him today certainly
