Paul Merson of late must be our lucky charm as the guy has predicted our wins for the last few weeks now let's hope we prove him right and get another predicted by Paul 2-1 over Swansea .

He's our lucky Buddha!!

To be fair though he's predicted we'd win pretty much every game since August!

He predicts us to win every week. Played with Pearson at Middlesbrough, they're still friends I believe. Merson talks highly of Pearson. Not sure if anybody saw Fantasy Football Club last week (Merson co hosts it with Fenners) but Merson came up to Leicester to Pearson as there was a feature on Pearson. (Actually, on that note I believe Simon Grayson is on tonight so could be a decent watch too).

Lawro has also backed us to win 2-1 tomorrow. What a massive 3 points it would be and great momentum going to the Burnley game

tbf, Lawro is never kind to Swansea in his predictions; if all his predictions had come true then Swansea would be 3rd from bottom (below Burnley and just above us)!

Merson saw how we outplayed Arsenal at the Emirates, and since then he has backed us to stay up. To be fair to him, he backed us to stay up after the Spurs game where everyone had the view that we were already dead and buried. Even Phil Thompson and Alan Mcinally have said we were unlucky week in week out, and that we create endless chances and cannot convert them. Matt Le Tissier even said earlier in the season that he'd be very surprised if we went down. We have had plenty of compliments for the style of play this season, and pretty much everyone agrees we have been unlucky. But credit to Merse who was the only one to predict we could stay up.

Not quite got the standard of chebs Rachel has but if they both bring us luck then who cares!

Hopefully this will bring us double luck tomorrow.

Just read Charlie Nicholas's verdict on our chances of avoiding the drop,he recons Blurnley has a better chance of staying up!!

Well you'll feel like a proper Charlie when we do stay up !!

Does he not have a point?

Lets not get carried away. Burnley are a point better off, have a better run in and play us at Turf Moor.

Exactly, we have a great chance of staying up, we've pulled it back and put ourselves back in with a shout but there is still alot of work to do.

People just get on their high horse sometimes, how dare people have opinions against us/back other teams over us.

Not sure they have a better run in but I'd rather be in their position than ours.

Their's;

Everton (A) - Away against a side with nothing to play for

Leicester (H) - Home advantage against relegation rival

West Ham (A) - Nothing to play for.

Hull (A) - Away against relegation rival.

Stoke (H) - Nothing to play for.

Villa (A) - Away against a side with (potentially) nothing to play for.

# of games against sides with a lot to play for 2 (potentially 3).

Ours

Swansea (H) - Home against a side with nothing to play for.

Burnley (A) - Away against relegation rival.

Chelsea (H) - Home against a side who (if they win their games up to that point) will win the league if they beat us.

Newcastle (H) - Home against a side with nothing to play for.

Southampton (H) - Home against side gunning for Europe.

Sunderland (A) - Away against relegation rival.

QPR (H) - Home advantage against relegation rival.

# of games against sides with a lot to play for - 5

I'd rather be in their shoes. Especially considering they've been half decent on the road and they'll be looking to win the two home games.
