The Doctor Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 You're right - it is a shame Hull and Sunderland picked up points. However, on the other hand, Villa and Newcastle are being sucked into this. Think Newcastle are safe tbh - can't see us, hull and sunderland all getting 6+ points and them not getting anything as would be needed for them to go. Villa, another win or two should do it. Frankly, I think we just need another 5 points - 6 more to play for this week, if we're over 35 and effectively safe this time next week then the bank holiday is going to be a fun one Not at all. They are given far too much credit for just having a low wage bill, Dyche is given far too much credit just because they're a small team and haven't been relegated yet. Back you go Dyche is a dick, but they're an inoffensive club - rather them than most of the others in it tbh
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 HUGE 6 points!! Christ..We could actually do this!
Monsell1976 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 It's amazing here in burnley, what an atmosphere, another vital 3 points.

Matt Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 GET IN THEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I was watching on a stream but it was quite slow and not the clearest, we didn't look as brilliant as we have done but it was a scrappy game, both teams had chances and it was notable that we were lacking the pace we have had in the past few games but tbh I don't really give a **** how we played, I don't care about stats, only the important one - We scored 1 they scored none!!! I think we need another win (Maybe 2) and a couple of draws. Oh, also, i've moaned plenty of times about the keeper situation but fair play to Schmeichel, i've accused him of his terrible starfish© (Trademark Kasper move) saves but he needed to make one of those today and was a great save.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Still need to keep in perspective. Nothing achieved yet. I said a week or so ago that because some teams are seemingly on the beach i.e Palace, results can swing either way as seen by Hull today. Hull are capable of at least a point at home to Liverpool and then again to Arsenal, whilst they then play Burnley at home after that. Really think HUll could get 36/37 pts, so vital we at least get seven pts imo. Still think we have best run in, but lets not get carried away. would be typical for us to win five in a row then go down, lets remain focused. Sunderland have Soton at home then Everton away, can see 2 points there, making our game vs them Massive. So proud of the boys but lets keep going keep grounded and focused

Kasper rightly got slated pre-injury. Since he's been back though I can't fault him, he even comes off his line!
Torten Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 If Chelsea play how they played at QPR, we're well in with a shout of a point or maybe more..

Richard Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 QPR and Burnley are down imo, it's betwen us, Hull, Sunderland and Villa have been dragged into it. I reckon 5 points will be enough from our next 5
Captain... Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Who says luck doesn't even out over the season? Taylor slipping after he had sent Kasper the wrong way for the pen, massive for us, huge moment. That was one crazy minute.

I'm with you mate. I've been critical of Kasper this season too but he was immense today and looks so much better these past few games. Much more commanding and decisive than he has been previously. Nice to see him grow
TJB-fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Dunno why Burnley get so much credit, is it because they run about a lot? They've got at least 60million from this campaign and all they did was buy two useless lumps in Jutciewicz and Sordell. It's their fault they were tight with money not anyone elses
darko2k7 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Boom . Don't think i have ever laughed so much at a goal in my life COYB
TJB-fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Great having the Chelsea game too now. Stadium/Players will be massively fired up with a great atmosphere, knowing that all the pressure is on them.
HoustonFox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Boom . Don't think i have ever laughed so much at a goal in my life COYB Looking at the table I think 37 points is needed to guarantee safety. 36 might do it.
filbertway Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Boom . Don't think i have ever laughed so much at a goal in my life COYB That goal difference!
Matt Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 "The margins have gone against us." "Fine margins" "They get the breaks." "The games cruel." "The penalty's irrelevent." Soundbytes from Dyche. Dissappointed there was no mention of market leaders or pound notes, but atleast fine margins was mention (Which tbf it probably was fine margins but it's the same old standard Dyche interview.)
Finnaldo Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Fantastic result, less so in terms of performance. But to pull through is great and now it's on to Chelsea. Have to go back to our pacy and on the deck play and hopefully Nuge and Schlupp are back in time, if so I can see us maybe taking a cheeky point, or maybe more...
