Burnley v Leicester Post Match Thread 0 - 1

Sooooooo undeserved, but thank god

Pearson is so lucky, his tactics against an inferior side were once again embarrassing. Instead of being positive and taking the game to them which has served us well, we invite pressure for 80 minutes and play hoofball.

Phew

Other results could have gone better for us, Hull winning and QPR and Sunderland getting a point but all we can do is win our own matches.

Feckin fantastic, well deserved and can't wait to hear what the gravel throated ginger disabled has to say about that......

Loads a maneeeeey!!!!!!!!

Insanity. I thought we'd finish with about 25 points and we're on 31. We were shite, total smash and grab but we're owed one this season.

Attention doom-mongers: Ha! We won you miserable fvckers, hard luck. First ever run of four consecutive Premier League wins, now fvck off til Wednesday to tell us why Nigel Pearson is personally responsible for us losing against Chelsea.

Silly sod.

Some of you really are embarrassing in the matcy thread. Can't wait to jump on the team and managers back when things aren't all going our way. Can't hear you now!

WE ARE STAYING UP!

Cant remember anyone jumping on Pearson or the players. Can remember lots of people asking for better and to stop the hoofing, which I think was a very fair point. We won, luckily so nobody gives a fook now, but we played poor football today!

Next three games at home, lets go in like we did against Swansea. Newcastle 7 defeats on the spin, lets make it 8 !!!

How many more point do you think we still need? 35-36?

Personally, I hope 37 will be enough. So that's only two more wins out of the remaining five fixtures.

First time we've won 4 on the bounce in the top flight since the 60s. Great stuff - out of the relegation zone, just a shame hull and sunderland couldn't lose to give us a bit more of a cushion.

Feel for burnley though, 5 points off with 4 to play, you've got to say game over for them.

You're right - it is a shame Hull and Sunderland picked up points. However, on the other hand, Villa and Newcastle are being sucked into this.

Not at all. They are given far too much credit for just having a low wage bill, Dyche is given far too much credit just because they're a small team and haven't been relegated yet. Back you go

5 games remaining, QPR are not far off being dead so it is probably 1 from a group of teams now since Villa and Newcastle could still go.

Considering we were dead and buried the morning of the West Ham game we should be renamed Lazarus City perhaps.:)

Hope the heart unit at the Royal Infirmary isn't overwhelmed!

Can't wait for Nige's post match interview.

Please no crowing over Burnley, they are playing this season the right way and I'd love them to stay up with us over QPR, Hull and Sunderland but it won't happen now sadly. Although it could!

I hope this game serves as a wake up call and not to get complacent. We control our destiny now as much as other results around us.

I hope Schlupp is bubble wrapped and getting 24/7 treatment so he can replace that donkey Konchesky. Never want to see him pull on a LCFC shirt again!

Not sure Villa are being sucked in. They, along with us, are the form teams at the bottom
