cc_star Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 and betwenn Nige and Jose for mananger of the season, if we stay up of course No chance, while a promoted side staying up is job done, just as much as Chelsea winning the league is job done. There's been far too much wrong with too many games for that to happen
iancognito Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 How has Kasper made the list? By being in our top 3 player ratings on Foxes Talk for April. They take everything into consideration.
Jfox Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 How has Kasper made the list? Pretty much won us the points at Burnley, made a crucial save at 1-0 vs Swansea. Granted he's probably not in the top 6 players in the league for April, but he had an excellent month.
Wrighty22 Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Good to see 3 of our team up for nomination. No doubt Dyche will still bitch and comment on the pound notes spent to gain these nominations.
Beliall Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 should go to mourinho, for managing the feat of being the only team to beat us in april
Filbert_Ross Posted 7 May 2015 Posted 7 May 2015 Surprisingly Mourinho hasn't won it yet this season. Could be his turn.
Harry - LCFC Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Yeah well deserved. Feels a bit special this one, much more so than the ones he got in the Championship!
Harry - LCFC Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Yes Nige! Thoroughly deserved Who got player? Benteke, which is fair enough.
Jaspa Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Nigel Pearson picks up Premier League Manager of the Month award for April after helping Leicester to four straight victoriesNigel Pearson has beaten Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger to award Everton's Roberto Martinez was also in contention to win award for April Leicester climbed out of Premier League drop zone with four straight wins http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3072675/Nigel-Pearson-picks-Premier-League-Manager-Month-award-April-helping-Leicester-four-straight-victories.html
foxfanazer Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 On sky sports it says Benteke won POTM beating Hazard, Bolasie, Ozil, Herrera and Cambiasso?
Carl the Llama Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 We did pretty well at dispelling the MOTM myth last season I thought, surprised to see so many concerned about it. Grats Nige.
Merging Cultures Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Congrats Nige! Saturday will be a tough game, if we lose we can now blame the curse.
Number 6 Posted 8 May 2015 Posted 8 May 2015 Had a quick look over this season's results to try and dispel any myths on this. Date of announcement are a bit off, some at beginning of month and others way into it. Jotted down and significant points too. August: Garry Monk. Next game lost to Chelsea. Form in month was LLWD September: Ronald Koemann. Next game won 8-0. Form in month WWWW. October: Sam Allardyce. Drew next game, form in month DDLW. November: Alan Pardew. Lost next game, form in month LLLLW. December: Manuel Pellegrini. Lost next game. Form LL, + loss to Boro in cup. January: Ronald Koemann. Lost next game (against Liverpool) and lost other game in month. February: Tony Pulis. Won next game. Other game in month was loss to Man City. March: Arsene Wenger. Followed it with WWWD (draw against Chelsea). April: Nigel Pearson. ? Bit of a mixed bag there. Would argue it suggests no effect and given a good run usually precedes the award surprised how many carried on very good runs (Southampton in Oct, Arsenal in April)
