Monsell1976 Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 The more I think about it, Sunderland, I know you are innocent till proven guilty, but to play Adam Johnson when he's been charged with sexual activity with a child and grooming, questions their morals, and he's still allowed around young supporters. Having worked in the criminal justice system for many years, to even charge him, the cps have a very strong case. So Sunderland for me.
One Legged Beaver Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Sunderland for me. Been devoid of any quality for several years now and I'm not sure how they've managed to stay up this long. It will probably be Hull though.
Gerard Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Newcastle. It would be easier next season if Newcastle weren't there because they're a pretty big club. Sunderland have been hanging on by their finger nails for years. A genuinely small club whose fans seem to think they're sleeping giants because they built a stadium they can't fill. They can't even sell out for our game which shows you they belong in the Ipswich, Middlesbrough, Blackburn type category. Hull are even smaller and will return to their true level and not come back for decades when they go.
Richard Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Newcastle, maybe relegation will finally get rid of that twat Ashley Also be hilarious if he missed out on the new TV money

Sunderland still get the 6th highest attendance in the premier league http://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-premier-league-2014-2015/1/
Bluetintedspecs Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 The Tigers for me, NP connection, irritating fans and the place is a dump. I could make strong cases for the other 2 also
SystonFox Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 i like Sunderland so i voted Newcastle. as someone touched on surely they cant be this bad next season so let's get them gone now. I feel it will be Hull though which is no bad thing. mauled by the tigers. arse holes
Bryn Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Sunderland, perennially absolute shite, they add nothing to the league whatsoever and their performance has been abject given their resources.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Newcastle. I'd feel sorry for the fans but Ashley is bleeding the club dry without any desire to build or progress. It'd be a harsh but necessary lesson that it's the wrong way to work. If they stay up they'll have gotten away with it and will do exactly the same thing next year, selling anyone of any value and replacing them with substandard players... whereas going down would surely make them go with a different approach or even convince Ashley to sell up and go. Kinda like us dropping out of the championship, a backwards step could turn out to be a blessing in disguise long term.
Gerard Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Sunderland still get the 6th highest attendance in the premier league http://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-premier-league-2014-2015/1/ They give a lot of tickets away to kids, OAP's, unemployed, etc just so the stadium isn't half full every game. They give away free tickets at ASDA as well if you spend a tenner for lesser games I've been informed by a very reliable source.
Raj Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Used to have a soft spot for Newc when they had Keegan. Hull are just a non entity of a club really,no disrespect but they could so easily be in league one and no one woulf miss anything about them. Sunderland have been fighting relegation for so long they deserve to go down,so I'll go for hull....or Sunderland......but a big club like newcastle getting relegated too would be hilarious!!!!
daddylonglegs Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Surprising outcome to be honest! Hull bring absolutely nothing to the Premier League, Newcastle should go down just because of their fans, and Sunderland continue to employ Adam Johnson. Can they all get relegated??
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Actually don't care, probably Hull or Newcastle

Hull bring absolutely nothing to the Premier League, Newcastle should go down just because of their fans, and Sunderland continue to employ Adam Johnson. Can they all get relegated?? Really don't like the idea that Johnson should be dropped just for being accused-that's pretty dodgy as a concept. If he's guilty, throw the book at him by all means, but I'm quite uncomfortable with the idea that an accusation is enough to get you fired (and if fired, never able to work again...) Voted Newcastle-no problem with them as a club, but relegation might make Ashley either put his money where his belly is or do one... (plus it leaves two weak clubs for next year, assuming we're still here...)
Swarles Barkley Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Got to be sunderland. It should be the worst three teams in the league that go down and losing to southampton 8-0 and villa 4-0 puts them just ahead of hull and newcastle. Nothing personal for me. As long as we dont go down i wont be losing sleep if either of the other two do though!!
theessexfox Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Newcastle, hopefully it'll be the final straw for Ashley, feel a bit sorry for their fans.
MC Prussian Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Hull or Newcastle, I can't make my mind up. Hull - because it would be either quite a twist of fate or an incredible piece of irony if we'd relegate Pearson's former club and one that still ponders a name change to "Hull Tigers" Newcastle - because their form under Carver is abysmal and I'd love to see how "the best manager in the Premier League" performs in the Championship
Socks Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Hull for 2 reasons. 1. Hull is a shithole 2. Hull is a shithole
ozleicester Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Hoping to come back at xmas and catch some games....really dont care about Hull, the town or club
Rincewind Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Hull then we can see local rivals Sunderland and Newcastle fight it out for the Bpttom two places next year. With one of the 3 promoted sides filling the 3rd.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Newcastle. Another example of how not to run a football club.
GaelicFox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Sunderland for me , Ellis short , Adam Johnston , the fans treatment of Martin o neill , ECT.......just don't like them

I wouldn't mind Hull staying up personally. Cos I quite like Steve Bruce. They gotta change the 'mauled by the Tigers' nonsense though.
