ARTY_FOX Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 You massive bellend The blues are staying up Sum it up perfectly imo
Aus Fox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Anyone got a clip of him saying I don't know why they are celebrating after the west ham game?
filbertuk Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Graeme Le Saux was another...just as the run began.. apparently we didn't have enough to see matches out .. Tosser!
dayday Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Alan Shearar after the West Ham game, they have only won 5 all season and would need to win 4 from there last 8 games... It's a tough task Little did you know Mr Shearar!
HighPeakFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Alan Shearar after the West Ham game, they have only won 5 all season and would need to win 4 from there last 8 games... It's a tough task Little did you know Mr Shearar! Objectively though, much as it pains me to say it, he was right - it was a tough task.
CosbehFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Some random Brummie the night before Villa away in the league in a pub. 'Who you support?' 'Leicester' 'You're shit. Relegated already'
Nalis Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Alan Shearar after the West Ham game, they have only won 5 all season and would need to win 4 from there last 8 games... It's a tough task Little did you know Mr Shearar! Dont really like Shearer but I think this was a fair comment at the time. It was a tough ask...but we did it and then some! Carragher's comments however were naive. He of all people should know its not over until its over, 2005 CL final being one example.
Nalis Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Put it this way, only Merson backed us recently. Colin Murray did too.
katieakita Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Jamie Carragher pundit/expert or just someone whose main claim to fame was being a half decent player who stayed at one club and not close to a John Terry or a Tony Adams. Played with passion as do many players from many clubs and now trying to make a living as a pundit and give an opinion. Well I will use my expert knowledge to predict most pundits will have as relegation favourites next year. Bournemouth Watford Middlesborough/Norwich (believe Norwich would do better than Bournemouth or Watford) whoever doesn't go down out of Hull,Sunderland,Newcastle. Some experts will also throw us in as well but I think we will progress. I will wait for my call from Sky Sports with the job offer).
pazzerfox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Everyone has a right to an opinion, but some people air it in the stupidest fashion. I actually rate Kevin Kilbane as a pundit. He said we would stay up when we drew at Everton to be fair to him.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 May 2015 Author Posted 17 May 2015 Nah the blokes a twat. What's the point in playing football if you're not going to celebrate scoring. ****.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 May 2015 Author Posted 17 May 2015 He can jog on. Have you just learnt this expression or something?
dayday Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Objectively though, much as it pains me to say it, he was right - it was a tough task. Yes he was right I was just being tongue in cheek, As for Jamie Carragher he is nowhere near as bad as Michael Owen.
Raj Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Shearer has been fine with his comments this season to be fair
Kitchandro Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Put it this way, only Merson backed us recently. Merson's comments were the most stupid at the start of the season though. 'Leicester won't stay up, their ground is too nice'. He and others thinking we would go down and QPR would stay up is just retarded. I don't blame anyone for saying we were down a month ago.

I wouldnt say retarded, we had spent 20m+ and still had a championship squad +cambiasso at the time... QPR had Ferdinand, caulker, Isla Krancjar Fer Barton Green Remy All proven at this level.

Guest ttfn Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 I wouldnt say retarded, we had spent 20m+ and still had a championship squad +cambiasso at the time... QPR had Ferdinand, caulker, Isla Krancjar Fer Barton Green Remy All proven at this level. Caulker and Fer had been relegated the previous season. Remy was obviously leaving. Ferdinand, Barton, Kranjcar and Green were all "proven at this level" in about 2008. This is a QPR side we'd finished 22 points ahead of the previous season.
Stadt Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Tbh Merson is a cretin, he got it right with us but let's not pretend he's a good pundit
fazzyfox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Looking forward to the muppet show, sorry, sunday supplement, they've regularly said the word Leicester like it's something they've trodden in. Cambiasso is the wrong type of player for a relegation battle, the defence is leaky, can't see where goals will come from, didn't do enough in the transfer window, Pearsons behaviour is a distraction for players, too many players can't manage the step up etc etc lardy dardy dah. Can't believe they denied criticising us all season in the post Chelsea conference (ostrich-gate). Step forward though the two jokers from Bet 365 commentary yesterday, both from Leeeeeeds, One was like a grumpier Jimmy King from Emmerdale, Huth is too slow to be offered a contract (involved in conceding how many goals?), we played ordinary player Drinkwater for most of the season (I must have missed that), Matty James is ordinary (more than holds his own vs established Prem players), King and Cambiasso don't score goals so we're too reliant on forwards, Mahrez isn't the type of ordinary player they need today for a game like this (but was vs Newcastle?) etc... A long painful afternoon with a thankfully delirious ending.
Steven Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Have you just learnt this expression or something? No. It is just that more people than usual are qualifying for it today.
