pazzerfox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Shearer has been fine with his comments this season to be fair Only because he's up Lineker's arse!
Finnegan Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Merson only backed us because he's an old pal of Nigel.
shailen Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Merse backed us after that Arsenal game because we were the better side and should have won. Before that he didn't really have an opinion on us.
Livingston Fox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Sitting on a Liverpool supporters bus coming back from the game in December and a couple of scousers, obviously sussed out im a Leicester fan, shouting to their mates at the back of the bus,Leicester are shit and their going back to the championship.Would love to pass them on the streets here.
Super_horns Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Some pundits before the season started had Southampton and Swansea to be in relegation trouble...
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I wouldnt say retarded, we had spent 20m+ and still had a championship squad +cambiasso at the time... QPR had Ferdinand, caulker, Isla Krancjar Fer Barton Green Remy All proven at this level. We didn't spend £20m much less last close season? All those QPR players may have played in the PL but most had proven not good enough to get out of the Championship on merit last year!!
NeilLCFC Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 As soon as I read the title of this thread, the word c*nt instantly came to mind.
dmayne7 Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I didn't hear what he said but I've got a lot of respect for his as a footballer and a pundit. He seemed to be the only guy who was clued up on our team before the season started, talking about the pace/work rate of Vardy etc. and said he thought we'd stay up.
shailen Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I don't get why people read anything into what pundits say. He was asked the question and we were the easy answer to get relegated. I don't know how we can criticise him when half our fans didn't believe we could do it?
theessexfox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 He questioned why we were celebrating a win cos we were 'down already'
shailen Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 He questioned why we were celebrating a win cos we were 'down already' Ahh I didn't know he said that. Yeah he's clearly a bellnd then.
fleckneymike Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Loved his bit tonight on Sterling's claims about Liverpool 'bullying' him into signing a deal.
MC Prussian Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I usually don't have a hard time with the Scouse accent in general, but every time I hear Jamie Carragher on TV, all I want to do is forcing him to inhale even more helium.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Alan Shearar after the West Ham game, they have only won 5 all season and would need to win 4 from there last 8 games... It's a tough task Little did you know Mr Shearar! There's nothing wrong with that. It was a monumentally tough task - I dislike Shearer but you can't level criticism at him for that.
Dan Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I wouldnt say retarded, we had spent 20m+ and still had a championship squad +cambiasso at the time... QPR had Ferdinand, caulker, Isla Krancjar Fer Barton Green Remy All proven at this level. This is the kind of thing I just do not get. Proven? How? How was Isla proven at this level? Caulker? He's been a proven failure at this level. We were better than them a year ago and we're better than them now. We've got everything they haven't.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Jamie Carragher is a full on **** of the highest order. Everything about him, his club, his accent, the drivel he talks, his opinions, his bias, literally don't think the man has any redeeming features as a pundit at all.
justfoxes Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Makes you laugh with those two muppets not one Leicester City award in their MNF awards isn't it strange Neville ( that guy looks like something really kind of dodgy with that comb back slick hairstyle)wants Manure to win most things and Carragher (the dodgy sounding hub cap knicking tw@ who thinks Liverpool were robbed all season) wanted Liverpool ! Not one mention of nugents cracking goal or VARDY's run from the halfway line to slot it past the keeper at WBA or Nigel Pearson for manager of the year for his great escape , Shows how biased these little muppets are sod the lower half of the table I bet these two stand like two little dweebs arguing who's better between Manure and Flopperpool !!
fuchsntf Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 JC has only been guilty of saying and repeating what 90% of you were all posting. Its all on this forum in black n white so dont deny it.!!! CANT see the problem. Ex-soccer players taking up the chair, thats what we all want isnt it.?? Whatever your gripe, these avg guys mostly from the street, have at least played the game. Journalist just make up stories, then opinionate, on their own fairytales. We dont have to agree with them, it proves also the so called experts are not better or worse than the lads n lassies on the terraces. I like G.Neville, Le, Tissier, even Shearer. Obviously not forgetting our Gary, and his various teams.Skys various pundits, no worse than the avg punter on any given soccer forum. If any of them dare not mention or criticise ones beloved team....my god we go trible.!!
Guest MattP Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 This is the kind of thing I just do not get. Proven? How? How was Isla proven at this level? Caulker? He's been a proven failure at this level. We were better than them a year ago and we're better than them now. We've got everything they haven't. You have to wonder how many times Caulker has to be at the centre of an awful defence in the PL before people actually start to realise he is probably part of the problem.
Guest Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 You have to wonder how many times Caulker has to be at the centre of an awful defence in the PL before people actually start to realise he is probably part of the problem. But would he look good next to Robert Huth?

We were better than them a year ago and we're better than them now. We've got everything they haven't. There's no doubt that some of the players listed have got talent, but just from the top of my head the following have been relegated at least twice now Barton (QPR x2, Newcastle), Caulker (Cardiff, QPR), Fer (Norwich, QPR), Green (West Ham, QPR, Norwich?) and i'm guessing Krancjar has somewhere down the line too. Same goes for a few of the Hull squad too, should they go down. The same bandwagon that will want to sign numerous players from relegated sides come July.

If any of them dare not mention or criticise ones beloved team....my god we go trible.!! I don't think most of that is the issue. If he'd have said "Leicester have been woeful", "I can't see then staying up" etc then he'd have had a point and who would have been able to blame him? It isn't about him criticising our club it was his arrogant, nonsensical comment about us being down already and having a pop at us for the biggest crime of all; celebrating a win. He didn't have to say anything at all or if he did want to say something he could have just said 'I think it'll be too little too late but hope the fans enjoy the win' etc. To say we were already down with 9 games to go and shouldn't be celebrating a win was in bad taste for any club not just because it's ours. If we had a thread for every pundit, journo etc who'd had a pop at us over the past 9 months it'd be endless, it's not that he criticised us, it's how ****ing stupid he looks now for saying something so absolute
