The Championship - 2015/16 Stuff It In Here

They've won 3 times this season....

I understand that, but the table is so tight, it's not like the season is over.

I'm not sure of their aspirations or the money that has been spent, but from looking on i would expect the most they could hope for is an upper bottom half finish....so that is very much still achievable under CP

Just waiting for the usual suspects like Sol Campbell to chirp up.

He'd be a mug to go back to Charlton. They're a total shambles.

Was in a waiting room, and I picked up what my old eyes thought was a Nov 2015 MOTD magazine. Flicked through it, thought it was weird there was no reference to us, until I read the Championship results page, which said City 0-2 Forest. Squinted again at the front page, and it was from 2013. Just two years ago, but can you imagine us playing Forest at home, losing, not even scoring?

Can see a glorious return for Timmy boy to throw his gilet around, show some pashun, be a bit shit and undermined by a foreign owner and a committee of non-football people like Les Ferdinand.

Oh god, two black managers sacked in one day! Jason Roberts, Sol Campbell etc will be having a field day with this, because they've clearly been sack because they're black not because they performed poorly.

Powell hardly performed poorly tbh, Ramsay should've never gotten the job though

Yet you're mentioning skin colour before them.  And people say skin colour has no bearing.

Harsh on both of them I think, particularly Ramsey considering the work that he had to do over the summer. Thought they'd done decent business as well.

I'm prempting their response. Not bringing skin colour into it, I'm predicting they will.

What ever about skin colour the sacking rates in lower leagues is crazy

Time that clubs were tied to a management quota !

Black manager numbers is a MASSIVE issue its time this was addressed it's a shocking disgrace

Quotas are the most ridiculous concept going. Do everything possible to avoid going up that route.

It's too easy to sack managers and there's no support for them despite all the different organisation. Dread to think how many sackings over the years could have got the club in trouble for wrongful dismissal.

As for the number of black managers, I want the best managers in jobs, not picked due to their colour to boost numbers. I don't care what colour their skin is as long as they do a good job. It's the same as people calling for more female MP's and CEO's, surely you'd rather the best people did those jobs rather than people picked for specific characteristics. Let me ask you a question, to force the number of black managers up, that means teams must employ them, possibly your team. Would you be happy if your team employed someone less qualified than a white counter part because he happened to be black? It's only a disgrace if people are actively employing none black managers due to discrimination and until we have proof of that other than just there's this many managers, and only that many are black, there's not much to be done.

Ramsey was very lucky to get the job in the first place, it boiled down to the fact nobody wanted the job. Back in January after Redknapp walked out, it was being reported Sherwood was going in but for some reason the talks broke down.

I hope Nige don't think about going there, perhaps Huddersfield maybe possible destination for him.

Wouldn't mind Powell coming back here as defence coach to sort out set-pieces etc.

Said when he left us that he admires the club and it's a great one to be involved with.

Don't think Ramsey will be a manager somewhere as I think he's best suited in assisting someone above him.
