Isn't he also the chap who was basically showing off on Twitter about how generous he was cos he paid his mum's debt off for her. Bellend.

Yeah, considering that's what most of us would do if we had that sort of money. Bit of a poor play that one imo

Maybe is showing off but it's better than shagging every woman in Wales, or old prostitutes, or battering DJ's, or throttling your missus, or recording yourself getting rimmed by prostitutes, or having 4 wives, or stubbing a cigar out in a youth team players eye, or shagging your team mates missus, or... (insert one of thousands of examples here).

Or just pay it off and not brag about it for likes and retweets.

Been class if he'd joined Everton or Liverpool with a name like that lol

Cresswell was well better than Mings is now, team of the year in that season and highest assisting defender while still being part of one of the best defences at Ipswich.

We had Cresswell more or less wrapped up this time last yr until West Ham blew us out the water on signing fee and wages.

Apparently we've been looking at Mings for a while but was put off by the money Ipswich wanted so went for Fuchs instead. Good decision by the looks of it

That's a shame. Suppose if West Ham come in for you like that it's probably best to sign on the dotted line.

Spot on with this weeks news, anything else brewing?

INTER DUO 'REJECT WATFORD'

Both midfielder Dravko Kuzmanovic and defender Davide Santon have refused a move from Inter Milan to Watford, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter reportedly accepted a bid of 12million euros for both players but both players decided against the move.

And the Perotti chap who did go to Napoli - which understandable!

Maybe have to look closer to home..

Guess its better they reject us now in a sense than sign and not really give a toss.

Oh dear...

Heard you're in for Gustede with Norwich...

Yes but even that one has been around for a while..

lovely little u-turn that is

By the player?

It was reported Valencia and Fiorentina were interested as well so clearly he had a few options which naturally would be a lot more attractive!

Don't think personal terms was ever agreed TBH...just a fee.

You know what fans are like though - get excited before a deal is done.

Some of the rumours are a bit daft I think - really going to sign somebody from Spurs who is on 70k a well..doubt it!

Super delayed but about mings

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33272654

Helping feed homeless people on Christmas day deserves respect.

Talking about full backs - Glenn Johnson?

No chance, a waste of money for someone that wouldn't play every week.  Offers no value to the club.  Mercenary check list - trading on past glory, injury prone, out for large periods, ex England, high wages.  He was on 120k a week at Liverpool, he refused a a new contract as they offered him 60k.

I'm not sure what we will do with regards to a RB, maybe someone younger and have De Laet as the main man when we play 4atb.
