ScouseFox Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 yeah watford could go either way. we all know that a few good additions are great, but if you buy a whole new squad and try and piece them together it an go very, very qpr.
ScouseFox Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 Did they? yes, hundreds of times over. did you miss the whole of last summer?! people on here, the whole of the british media and 90% of football fans in the country had them as comfortably the best promoted team and definitely nowhere near trouble cos they'd signed isla, leroy fer and steven caulker

Bluearmyfox28 Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 What does that mean? Good players are good players. Obviously don't watch much premiership football. A lot of players from foreign leagues struggle to cut it in the prem due to the pace of the game & english media.
Fox92 Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 Obviously don't watch much premiership football. A lot of players from foreign leagues struggle to cut it in the prem due to the pace of the game & english media. How many is a lot? You could argue that the Premier League's best ever players are Bergkamp, Henry and Ronaldo. Not to mention Vieira, Pires, Makelele, Zola, Cantona etc

Captain... Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 The majority of players in the league are foreign, the percentage is higher in the better sides. It's not about nationality it is about knowing your team and knowing the league. Bringing in a lot of players that have never played in this league is a massive risk as quite often they need a settling in period, look at Krama. Super_horns Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 SSN reporting Zdravko Kuzmanovic from Inter is heading to Watford. Good player, Watford are doing good business so far. Commentator's nightmare! Also reported to be signing that Santon who was at Newcastle for a while. Mind you we've been linked with so many players we'd have a squad of about 60 if all came true! Ric Flair Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 SSN reporting Zdravko Kuzmanovic from Inter is heading to Watford. Good player, Watford are doing good business so far. Have they agreed a fee for Capoue as well? And they're after Paulinho and that bloke from Genoa. They're certainly going for it.
Kopfkino Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 I'd have no qualms backing Watford for the drop. Until they make Huth type signings then I can't see anything else than another Qpr. I remember people blowing their load at them signing Isla and Vargas last year
Super_horns Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 Have they agreed a fee for Capoue as well? And they're after Paulinho and that bloke from Genoa. They're certainly going for it. Think that is hearsay and the Genoa chap wants to join Valencia or Fiorentina which is fair enough!
Wymsey Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 If Kermogant struggles, Bournemouth are going to struggle getting assists/goals.
MC Prussian Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 Think that is hearsay and the Genoa chap wants to join Valencia or Fiorentina which is fair enough! I thought the Perotti deal was pretty much done and dusted - or are Watford still negotiating personal terms?

4everfox Posted 24 June 2015 Share Posted 24 June 2015 I've been saying for weeks that Watford will survive. Bournemouth and Norwich will be in trouble though I reckon. Having said that I'm not worried about Watford finishing higher then us.
Dan LCFC Posted 25 June 2015 Share Posted 25 June 2015 I can't; he's both more of a hard-worker and better technically than Ballotelli. Luis Alberto is a backup, but got loaned out straightaway after signing for Liverpool. Woah woah woah I'm no Balotelli fan but that is massively incorrect. Technique isn't the bloke's problem. Bacca surely won't join Liverpool. Surely it's a step down right now?

HEGGSY Posted 25 June 2015 Share Posted 25 June 2015 So Liverpool have apparently agreed a fee of £12.5m for Clyne? Good fee considering the premium put on young English players. Was expecting around £30m
