ScouseFox Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Smalling? One of the only players that actually looks decent playing under LVG. i could look good at centre half for united, the whole team ethos is to defend. they play two deep centre mids, two narrow full backs and even rooney up front spends most his time nearer their goal than the opponents.
My Nads Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Well given Liverpool fans were starting to wonder about their chances under Klopp's revival (until last week), it's a fair conclusion. That said, it's still a long road - and we will need to rotate the side over the coming games, so it's about how well the others that come in contribute. In our Championship winning season, we were relentless and we learnt how to win that year. When we first went up, the players had doubt if they were good enough of not. Once we were over that and we started to play our game again like we did in the Championship we have hardly put a foot wrong. We wont drop many points, because this team has the self belief and more importantly talent to beat anyone in the league.
Steven Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Is there a single United player who'd get in our team? Don't think there this? De Gea.
Alex_LCFC Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Man United do have a good midfield could of had a good midfield
My Nads Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 could of had a good midfield They would be shit now, if they played under LVG
My Nads Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 For any bandwagon fans getting ready to abandon ship, look elsewhere, we don't want you! :xmasdry:
Jattdogg Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 I do wonder what Giggs does as an Assistant - because if he was in charge I couldn't see him putting up with dross the side is putting out. I sense he's just acting as a 'yes man' to LVG's ego. I reckon giggs totally disagrees with everything VG is doing. If not then he too is a lost cause. Is giggs capable of taking over who knows? All i knos is that i hope we thrash them at old trafford.
Donut Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 im gonna say it, the fact is if we keep our players fit, we have a chance at the league. Why shouldnt we? forget the fact its Leicester, its irrelevant. Were the most consistent, individuals who are the most in form, unconvincing (at the moment) rivals, why the hell not?
Gerard Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Gutted at Man City getting that injury time winner. Arsenal draw tomorrow, we beat Chelsea and go 5pts clear at the top. :xmasohmy:

If we keep this form then 100%. Im starting to believe top 7 is a major reality for us which id say was unexpected this year. It all comes down to staying healthy and on form.

Why shouldnt we? forget the fact its Leicester, its irrelevant. Were the most consistent, individuals who are the most in form, unconvincing (at the moment) rivals, why the hell not? You see that's the thing really. If you were an alien visiting from Mars and knew nothing about the history of the game and just watched the matches this season on their merit, you would say that Leicester were the form team, the most consistent and were top on merit. It's only the fact that everyone knows we're Leicester that casts any shadow of a doubt on it. Bizarre really when you think about it...

tcrofts Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 ame="tcrofts" post="3668165" timestamp="1449952510"] 3 points actually. Of course. Good to be quibbling over a point or two at the top of the league though.
Happy Fox Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Could do with Aston Villa beating Arsenal tomorrow. Will it happen, most likely not a chance. But stranger things have happened.

urban.spaceman Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 What's stranger than Villa winning a football match? Lawro predicting us to win one? The day he does we're screwed
Kitchandro Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Two late goals at man city....barely anyone there to see them!
Wymsey Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Strange season at times. Big teams under-performing, whilst some of the lesser ones picking at them. For some reason, I can see Newcastle picking up form and Southampton slipping further by how the league is going currently.
Vacamion Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Joe Hart is totally losing his hair, isn't he? No.no.no.no.no.no.no.no.no.no.no.no. There's no cure for male pattern baldness....
theessexfox Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Romeu is yet to convince me that he is anything other than dreadful at this level.
