TJB-fox Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Every time I watch match of the day, Ighalo is just running riot
Shambles Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Bolasie looks a real player. He's quick, strong, can dribble and skillful. Plus he can cross!
Jimothy Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Someone needs to stop Lukaku. Huth and Morgan!
trabuch Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Clean sheet next Saturday please. It's so weird just to be looking at the top of the table, and thinking about results for Man City, Arsenal, Man U etc.. I genuinely can't get my head round it. It's brilliant isn't it?
MC Prussian Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 It is a very weird Premier League season so far indeed.
Harry - LCFC Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 It is a very weird Premier League season so far indeed. Indeed. There's excitement in every but everything seems to be going off in this one. Several teams are a considerable distance from where one might have predicted them to be, combine that with what has been an unimpressive performance from the top clubs and we have one of the most open leagues we've had in a while. Shock results seem to be a regular feature atm. It's a great competition to be involved in right now.
Tuna Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 We are a better team than Manchester United. Never thought I'd say that. Powell is getting in the United team :xmaslaugh: LVG win percentage is less than Moyes now, having spent nearly a quarter of a billion pounds!
weller54 Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 It is a very weird Premier League season so far indeed. Perhaps we've entered the twilight zone?

At the time I thought Moyes was pathetic and it wasn't good enough for United, however in hindsight Moyes got shit on, they should have stuck with him.
Guest Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 It is a very weird Premier League season so far indeed. Is it really? If Leicester and Chelsea swapped positions it'd be a league table with very few surprises.
MC Prussian Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Is it really? If Leicester and Chelsea swapped positions it'd be a league table with very few surprises. Bournemouth winning against both Chelsea and Manchester United? And that with two key players out injured? Watford in 7th place? West Ham in 8th spot? Us currently in 2nd? Swansea plummeting down the table? Tottenham keeping a lot of clean sheets? Joint leaders in the goals-against department? I wasn't talking league positions alone. It's a series of results that has caught my eye and individual performances, as well.

Indeed, I would say the only non-surprise is that with the exception of us and Chelsea swapping, the top 5 positions are already filled with the usual suspects, United, city, Arsenal and Tottenham.

There are always a few surprises and I'm not really disagreeing with you but if Leicester and Chelsea were in the other's position no-one would be saying how extraordinary the season is.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I realise this forum appears to be anti Eddie Howe. It seems to be the fashion. Personally, I take my hat off to him recently. Given the horrible injuries they have had to their best players (mainly long term) he clearly has his squad playing their hearts out. When Junior Stanislas is looking every inch the player at present that many thought he might turn out to be when he was a youth, it shows Howe has got to be doing something right. And Josh King IS looking an half decent buy. Given their squad at present, to turn over Chelsea and Utd (albeit a very very poor Utd) takes some doing. I await the usual gubbins from the usual suspects.
Raj Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Massive respect to Bournmouth and Watford. They have done fantastic.I couldn't give a fook how fashionable it may be to hate these teams.I'd love it if they stayed up and the perennial strugglers like Villa,Sunderland and Newcastle fooked off to the championship
Raj Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Surprised Van Gaal isn't getting ALOT of stick...amazing really, considering Moyes starting getting grief after just a few months
Finnaldo Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Massive respect to Bournmouth and Watford. They have done fantastic.I couldn't give a fook how fashionable it may be to hate these teams.I'd love it if they stayed up and the perennial strugglers like Villa,Sunderland and Newcastle fooked off to the championship I don't understand the hatred to be honest, Bournemouth have done magnificently over the last decade and to reach the Prem for the first time is a feat and a half, it's going to get headlines like Vardy's scoring record did. The Watford play-off semi-final was three years ago and in my opinion did more good than harm. The 'Watfordese' shite is about as accurate now as calling us 'Big Spending Leicester' still. Most importantly they're playing good positive football. Rather them than boring Sunderland and punch bags Newcastle and Villa.
Raj Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 It's probably fashionable to hate the lower crapper teams now that we are MASSIVE and heading for the title!!! Bloody minions!!
ithuriel Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 You've got to hand it to Bournemouth and Watford, hopefully Norwich can pull their finger out and make a fist of staying up. Would be funny as hell to see Villa finally slide into the Championship because they could easily continue a downward spiral.
