Wymsey Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 So he was smiling yesterday as he knew he wouldn't be managing against us, due to fear of being thrashed? I see.
Super_horns Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 So he was smiling yesterday as he knew he wouldn't be managing against us, due to fear of being thrashed? I see. Nice pay-off too... No wonder managers aren't that fussed if they get sacked. Would Benitez want to be a Championship manager?
AKCJ Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Gutted. Would have been pretty special to have been the club to have got Mourinho and McClaren sacked in the same season.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Sort your life out Rafa, ****ing hell
STUHILL Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Sort your life out Rafa, ****ing hell I thought that too. He could manage a much better club than taking over that mess. Never minded Rafa but really want Newcastle to go down. With this appointment though, I think they will be ok. Norwich, Villa and Sunderland perhaps, although Big Sam is survival specialist.... What a come down if Rafa is managing in the championship next season!
Super_horns Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Will have a clause in his contract I suspect in case they get relegated - anyway the Newcastle fans will probably want him sacked if they go down. Probably won't play the Keegan like football they demand either.
gurru991 Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 I desperately want Newcastle to go down. The can take Rafa with them. The obvious choice for Newcastle should be Pearson, he knows the league and if they do go down, he knows how to get them back up.

He would have been perfect appointment in my opinion, but I am glad they didn't. Want them to go down and don't want to see Pearson have any chance of taking some of our staff away or coming up against him on Monday. Will always respect what Pearson did for us, but would prefer him to stay in the championship if he gets another club
Captain... Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Gutted. Would have been pretty special to have been the club to have got Mourinho and McClaren sacked in the same season. Don't forget Monk and we could still do for Martinez.
NewEnglandFox Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 C'mon Spurs, at least pretend like you want to get something out of Dortmund. Tottenham XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Davies, Carroll, Mason, Onomah, Son, Eriksen, Chadli.

I'll be watching and cheering them on tonight and hopefully see a hamstring or two go.

Quite ironic that their fans bitch about what harm we'd do with coefficients when they're throwing out this trash.

Gerard Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Quite ironic that their fans bitch about what harm we'd do with coefficients when they're throwing out this trash. Even if Dortmund knock them out they will have played 10 matches in the Europa League. It seems to be a waste of time that they've got this far just to play more than half a team of squad players. Spineless bastards.

Kane Lamela Dembele Dier at the very least are better than Mason Onomah Carroll Chadli A few more debatable ones as well
ScouseFox Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Kane Lamela Dembele Dier at the very least are better than Mason Onomah Carroll Chadli A few more debatable ones as well oh the team i saw on twitter had kane starting. like i said they change their midfielders and wide men pretty often, mason's been back recently, chadli is in and out, the only one that stood out is onomah until i realised someone tweeted the wrong team and kane isn't playing so now they're going to lose. at least when they lose tonight but keep it tight with their first choice defence they'll have it all to play for in the return leg. although let's be honest, after both legs they play villa and then bournemouth. they could play whatever team they want and rock us to those two games and win both comfortably.
Gerard Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 1-0 Dortmund Lets hope they don't get done 3-0 here and still have something to play for. Either that or get thrashed and take a point from Villa and Bournemouth as there season collapses around them.
AKCJ Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 I don't get Alderweireld. He's pretty on the ball, which makes the media absolutely love him... but is he that good? Spurs fans reckon he should be player of the year, But whenever i've seen him he looks poor. Aubameyang has him on toast.
Fox92 Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 I don't get Alderweireld. He's pretty on the ball, which makes the media absolutely love him... but is he that good? Spurs fans reckon he should be player of the year, But whenever i've seen him he looks poor. Aubameyang has him on toast. Yeah, he's been one of the players of the season. Remember we don't watch him every week like Spurs fans do.
StanSP Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Dortmund battering Spurs. I don't get Alderweireld. He's pretty on the ball, which makes the media absolutely love him... but is he that good? foxfanazer Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Still not convinced Spurs are as good as some make them out to be. Good at keeping the ball but pretty lightweight imo
TJB-fox Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 If mason gets ahead of Drinkwater in the euros I'll probs be sick
ThaiFox Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 If mason gets ahead of Drinkwater in the euros I'll probs be sick Wouldn't be surprised.....Woy watches spuds every match, obviously his favourites.
