Soar Fox Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Jack Colback walks past the referee and clearly tells him to Fvck off.
m4DD0gg Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Jack Colback blatantly just told the ref to **** off.
promised land Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 85 mins 14 secs Collback just told Friend to feck off as he walked right past him. Chances of it being reported? Zero.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Good point for Newcastle, especially given how good Man City have looked recently.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Good result for us keeps Newcastle in the relegation fight, which means fingers crossed they'll have something to play for against Spurs on the final day of the season.
GaelicFox Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Think we finish 3rd at worst now ???? So we should Get season ticket news now !
Guest ttfn Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Newcastle have got 2 very winnable games in their next 3 (Palace home and Villa away). If they get to 35 points by the time the Spurs game comes around they'll still be in with a shout of staying up.

Can't see them getting anything against spurs, spurs would have to have a very bad day...here's hoping....well actually I hope that we've won it by then.

gdl9050 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Has anyone considered berahino might be well up for Spurs away. I know he isn't that good but he's desperate for a move and Spurs were once bidding on him.

If Pulis parks the bus they may have a chance, but I expect Spurs to be at least a goal up within 15 minutes of that game. They'll steamroller them unfortunately for us. 5-0 Spurs win.
Carl the Llama Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Think we finish 3rd at worst now ???? So we should Get season ticket news now ! Man City can finish above us on goal difference so 4th is still a possibility.

Carl the Llama Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 No it isn't... Arsenal and man city play each other I was unaware of that. Nevermind.
Donut Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 So Andy Hinchcliffe (I think it's him) on sky has just commented on Aguero going down in the box and he said "It's not a dive, he feels the contact and that makes him think he can go down, but he doesn't exaggerate the fall so it's not a dive." If he falling over because he feels a slight touch rather than falling over because he actually loses his feet then it's still a dive. Now he's saying its a penalty but the referee didn't give it because it's an accidental tangle of legs. Anyone who feels contact and "has a right to go down" must be diving, because the whole nature of the sentence is implying the contact he has received hasnt impeded him enough to have put him off. The worst phrase in the whole game is entitled to go down. Basically saying a player has a right to fall over if he wants to. Drives me mad.

He did say after our game, he is now a Leicester fan. WBAs defence is better than Stokes. Love WBA go to London visit the Tower enjoy themselves , and bring back 4 points at least, to the midlands.
kushiro Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Martin Samuel in the Mail on Rafa Benitez: He went through a full range of furious hand signals – quite a repertoire when seen as a whole. There was the ‘Somebody’s Nicked My Concertina’, the ‘5/4 the favourite’, the ‘Come And Have A Go If You Think You’re Hard Enough’ and the ‘Back A Bit, Back A Bit, Back A Bit, You’re All Right’.
Dan Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Genuinely the sort of game pulis sides rob 1-0 having played the role of punching bag all night. Hilarious if pulisball puts us back in the driving seat and we can go anti football for two wins simply for the tears on the spurs forum. Bit of a myth sadly. Looked at their away form and their wins are... 0-1 at Stoke 0-1 at Norwich 0-1 at Villa 0-1 at Everton So four away wins, two against strugglers and two against sides who've blown games of that ilk all season. They did however get that point here, so you never know. I will be simply amazed if West Brom get anything from Spurs though. A team with nothing to play for, who aren't really that good, against this flying Spurs side. Resounding 3-0.

ajthefox Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Spurs have won their last two games 7-0 against Man Utd and Stoke. I think it's better to just assume they're going to win out (which I think there's a very good chance of happening) and not get our hope up about them dropping points.

People are so easily brainwashed it's unreal. I don't blame players for diving (the reward outweighs the risk) but I'm with you entirely on that phrase. Oh and did Colback really tell the ref to **** off? I assume he'll be getting that looked into with a view to a longer ban, no? Or does that only happen occasionally?

It's a slightly less personal attack telling someone to f off rather than f off you c. Very very thin margins tho..... It was the press reaction to Vardy that did him, I guess similar to Suarez when he bit people
AyewJoking Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 i would permit newcastle staying up if it meant they dicked tottenham out of the title in the process
nnfox Posted 20 April 2016 Posted 20 April 2016 Don't worry about Spurs. We don't need them drop points. Our form for the next four games needs to be W2D2 or W3L1. Both are achievable. In fact, I would get more pleasure in limping over the line, finishing 1 point ahead of a Spurs team that win their last four 10-0 playing the best football that the world has ever seen.
