Matt Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Thought there was going to be a conclusion/action took by the end of the week, or is it a case of it's been quite quiet and not much media coverage (Barr Sunday, which was a slow news day) so we're just gonna keep quiet and hope everyone's forgot about it
Bryn Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Wouldn't say this was something that's on my mind a great deal. I don't see how it's tenable for these players to continue to play for this club though, I do not want to see them wear the shirt.
les-tah Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 I assume whatever paper/media source are still milking this will be banished from future press conference and any sort of work
Frank to be Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 I have a feeling the staff needed to carry out the disciplinary are on holiday. Still think and hope they'll all be fired. Just a shame the action the club takes will put the story back in the press.
dylanlegend Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 I don't think they'll get sacked... nor should they. If this was Vardy, Cambiasso and Ulloa people would have different opinions. They should be treated the same as these players would be. How do we know Hopper isn't the next Kane!? I bet This kind of thing happens all the time with young players on tour... they were just stupid enough to film it!
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 They have to be sacked, not sure how people can say otherwise it's gross misconduct.

I bet This kind of thing happens all the time with young players on tour... they were just stupid enough to film it! But it wasn't Vardy, Cambiasso and Ulloa was it? And I doubt they would do that - they have more class. But in the unlikely event that any of our first-team players filmed themselves spouting that kind of nasty crap, I would be perfectly happy for them to be fired. I don't care if Hopper is the next Kane: he's an ar$ehole, and so are James Pearson and Smith. Fvck em - get rid.

foxinsocks Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Whatever the club do.... maybe the fa Will charge them for bringing the game into disrepute
Ron Combo Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 I cannot believe the club hasn't terminated their contracts yet. Just kick them out and have done with it.
foxinsocks Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 If I was taking a squad of blokes to Bankok to represent my organisation I would take time out to think "what could go wrong?" I wonder if the club told them that if they must consort with bookers then remember to avoid filming it and sending the vid to the mirror They should show loyalty and email it to the hinckley times

moocat Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 I don't even know why they are waiting for the club to take action, surely there is no contract which you cannot withdraw from i.e. offer to withdraw/resign. I realise the club paid for them but who is going to buy them ? They have added insult to injury by hanging on and hoping it will all blow over with one pitiful apology and a sneaky return to England. If they were actual grown ups they would acknowledge the sheer contempt many fans and presumably the owners have for them and leave. So gaining a tiny modicum of respect and drawing a line under it for all of us. Instead they cling pitifully on, their own shoddy careers more important than the club they supposedly want to play for.
mozartfox Posted 6 June 2015 Posted 6 June 2015 I flew from Vienna to Bangkok on Thursday evening and I picked up copies of the Nation and Bangkok Post on the Plane. In the Nation there was a very positive article about the 16 Thai Lads currently spending 2 and half years at our Youth Academy on the UK. It mentions how much our Owners are hoping that one day a Thai player makes his debut in the Premier League. I bet these are all model lads, unlike some of the older twats at our Club I then flicked through the Bangkok Post and see an article on the orgy. It may have been written by someone working for the Independent in the UK? The gist of it very negative saying how can the Club take money from the Thai Tourist Office and pay the likes of these three individuals with this money? It also mentions how degrading it was for three Thai girls. It suggested that these young rich footballers have power over girls like this and assume they can treat them accordingly. I really think the Club must sack these 3 idiots due to the damage they have done to Club not to mention to the reputation of our Owners and Thai Sponsors. Saying sorry is not enough and there are no valid excuses for this behavior. How Nigel must be feeling seeing his son was involved I can only imagine. Get rid of these 3 now. Why were they there in the first place puzzles me as they are no where near the first team?
The Doctor Posted 6 June 2015 Posted 6 June 2015 I cannot believe the club hasn't terminated their contracts yet. Just kick them out and have done with it. You realise dismissals still need to follow correct procedure, everything needs to be done above board and properly, otherwise we end up with another Dennis wise situation.

Izzy Posted 6 June 2015 Posted 6 June 2015 “Hotel staff were told to go to extra lengths to ensure they were well looked after. We were told to give them whatever they wanted". It is unclear whether the footballers paid for their services. Mmmmm.
