I might top myself, I can not control my excitement.

I'd have thought he's unlikely to sign so I don't know why you'd wanna start cracking open the champagne just yet

He already does.

A very timely observation  lol

Agreed but, if we can persuade him to join then others of similar calibre will hopefully follow suit and before long it may not be seen as a backward step long term as hopefully we will be challenging for a place in Europe as stated by the owners

Agreed we have very ambitious owners and if we could sell our 2/3 year plan and ambitions maybe we could sell it to him, Stoke seem to be a team happy to be mid table club so you never know

It will be in order to force Cean into accepting our offer for Kante. N'zonzi could easily play for a top ten side.

He currently does play for a top 10 side . Think you mean top 6 don't you ?)

Any evidence to back up " stoke happy to be a mid table side " ?

Trying not to get too excited about it as I don't think it will happen, but I've been talking him up for a while now. He's quality. I just cannot understand why the player of the season for 9th place would sign for us.

if he is literally a fluffer for huth then I already love him just for that. have a nice career sir Steven

Oh please, please, please let this happen! This would be a fantastic signing. One of the most underrated players in the division in my opinion!

Never gonna happen. Great to hear we are bidding for a player of his calibre, however I reckon his representatives will just be laughing at the offer. Think personally as others have suggested this is to push the Kante deal through.

One of Stoke's best-improved players over the past few seasons, but apparently he's motivated by money sadly (ala Beckford).

What a signing this would be. Shame it isn't going to happen though.

As others have mentioned hopefully it spurs other players we have been linked with into action.

He's not coming here. Please dont get your hopes up. Wants to play for a big european team.So bigger than Stoke really which we arent.

Nzonzi update, #lcfc have not officially bid £7 mill for Nzonzi. They made enquiry and were quoted £7m. Doesn't mean they won't offer it.

Should the interest be genuine, this is better news than us actually bidding as this means we only have to pay £7M rather than guessing and having to increase the amount.

N'Zonzi bossed both games vs. Leicester last season and would be a very good acquisition.

Given the choice, I might prefer Kante as he has greater room for development, imo.

Regardless, great intent by the club and it's brightened up my afternoon!

Isn't he the chap that knocked over a cyclist in London then drove off saying, "good luck tracking me down with foreign number plates" (or something to that effect)?
